Would absolutely recommend The Blackfin to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday! The cottage was a home away from home, perfectly positioned with hiking trails in all directions. Our hosts were extremely warm and accommodating, and we look forward to coming back in the future!

Beautiful sunsets

This is the perfect place to stay in Rocky Harbour. The porch looks out over the water, and gave us a view of stunning sunsets. It's a quiet area, and a short drive to Gros Morne for hiking. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy accommodations with easy access to park trails. Walk down to the shoreline/lookout in front of the house for sunsets or morning coffee. Groceries are 10 minute walk away.

The wonderful private deck overlooking the water leads to a fire pit with comfy chairs to relax in by the reef where low tide beckons the intrepid to explore the rocky shoreline. This is the perfect place to relax after a day's activities, or just to come and relax. Equipped with a full kitchen and laundry facilities, The Blackfin makes those parts of your journey easy. Rest up, settle in for a long sunset, or even a coffee with the sunrise, explore explore explore!
