Lovely place to stay at Ile de Noirmoutier
We had the chance to spend one great week at this beautiful place. The object is one of the rare locations in the area of "Bois de la chaise" and just some minutes away from famous "Plage des Dames". The house is really nice and well equipped with a good sense for style and charme. A perfect place for one family (with 2, max 3 kids). You can reach the city centre of Noirmoutier and all the other nice places by bike our just walk to the beaches close by.
But there are also some things that could be improved in regard to the "Concierge Services":
Though the object is already in the "upper class" of pricing, please be aware that you have to pay an extra charge of 80 Euro for cleaning. Also bed linens, towels etc. are not included and we had been charged with 85 Euro on top. Unfortunately the beds had not been prepared when we arrived and we had to make the beds ourselves. As we booked the final cleaning, the had the leave the house at 8am in the morning (!) which is absolutely not standard and definitely not a convenient service. Extra fees for cleaning and linens have to paid locally in cash. Do not expect that the concierge will able to give change when paying the fees. Also the kitchen was not well cleaned with open wine bottles etc. in the kitchen cabinet.
So summary: Great place, nice house, but the Concierge Service provided by "L'Equipe Hoomy" had not been appropriate.
