Only small pets are allowed (dogs, cats) upon request. Please remember to bring any necessary items to protect the furniture if necessary.
The interior staircase, which is a "miller's ladder," is not suitable for people with difficulty climbing. The exterior staircase is more accessible.

The town of Préfailles is an authentic family-friendly village in a preserved natural setting that you can explore on foot along the oceanfront path and by bike along the numerous cycle paths. The sea and beach, supervised in summer, are a 2-minute walk away. A privileged location facing the ocean and the island of Noirmoutier. Gastronomy: Anne de Bretagne restaurant (2 stars) 5 km away.
Préfailles, a small seaside resort on the coast de Jade, is to be discovered, its landscape differences at the different ends of the commune. The Pointe Saint Gildas, rocky prow of the Pays de Retz, is one of the must-see tourist sites of the region. At the gateway to the Loire Estuary, between the bridge of St Nazaire and the Bay of Bourgneuf en Retz. All times of the year, you are captivated by the elements of nature. Before you the ocean, raging or calm with its magnificent waves on the rocks, or at low tide, you will collect shellfish, certain mollusks etc ... a regenerating iodized destination. Its marina, with its small hulls for fishing, sailboats and catamarans, a very renowned sailing school. Those nostalgic for the past, with the blockhouses that bore witness to the last world war, the semaphore built in 1861 where you will imagine yourself at the helm of a boat, an exceptional view of the open sea and its wrecks (the St Philbert, the Lancastria etc...)
