Enjoy your next vacation at this beautiful home in South Padre Island! Attractions within five miles of your home include beach access, several parks, South Padre Island Welcome Sign, Sea Turtle, Inc., dining and events, and the pier with amazing sights and family fun.

Step inside and you will be greeted by elegant decor, tile flooring throughout, and spacious dining and living areas. Enjoy meals at any of the yummy local restaurants, or shop at the nearby grocery store and cook for yourself in this home's well-equipped, full kitchen or outside on the gas grill.

When you return home from the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and then toss your suits into your private washer and dryer! The front balcony (accessible via the main bedroom and the upstairs hallway) is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching evening sunsets or the local fireworks displays at dusk. Additionally, the fenced backyard, with a private pool and spa, has enough room to lay out in the sun, dine al fresco, and keep everyone entertained.

Additional perks include complimentary WiFi, central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a futon for extra sleeping space.

Overall the stay was good. The house was beautiful, plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Although We did have to go get a refill on the propane tank ourselves which was supposed to already have been ready for us. And we had to get trash bags because there were none to be found. Another downer was finding proscriptions from previous stays there in kitchen. Overall a good stay would go back.

Great location! Dining room ceiling fan didn't work, had trouble with spa but pool guy randomly showed up and fixed it. Perfect family vacation home with everything needed within walking distance!

The location was great. You could walk to the Bayside or the beach in less than 5 minutes. Pool and hot tub were an amazing thing to have in this hot weather after we figured out how to work it. House was big enough for our party of eight.

Home is walking distance from the beach. Home has a great pool that was suitable for a party of 11. Home had 4 rooms to accommodate living quarters. Home had a suitable kitchen and dining area for meals and lounging areas both inside and out. No complaints. I wouldn't mind rebooking the place for my next visit.

Great SPI Beach House

Our recent stay at this beach house in South Padre Island was an absolute delight! The vacation rental, within walking distance of the beach, provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable family getaway. The well maintained and thoughtfully furnished house offered spacious rooms for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was the pool and hot tub, providing a refreshing respite after beach adventures. The beach's proximity allowed for leisurely strolls and breathtaking views. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area were perfect for family time. The property management team was responsive and accommodating with any issues we brought to their attention. Really lovely place to host 3 generations! One room is quite small barely enough to fit a bed length and width, I do recommend minor cleaning such as sheets-found dirt particles in the bed in the smaller room. Maybe some cosmetic updates such as painting the rails, walls at the entrance, chipped toilet tank lid, puncture door, cigarette butts outside, dog poop outside in the backyard. And this is because I’m observant…but it’s really a lovely place

We had a party of 9 stay at the beautiful Blue Dolphin. Plenty of room and the house was clean upon arrival. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean and we used it every day. Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Only criticism is there are hardly any “extras” in the house. No extra trash bags, 1 extra roll of toilet paper, no coffee or coffee filters, things like that. So be prepared to make a stop at the grocery store if you plan to cook or have several people staying. Fortunately, there is a grocery store right down the street.

Great location! The house is great for a big group. The mattresses are extremely hard in every bedroom. We went in the off season when its not hot and we choose this place because the listing says HOT TUB. There is NOT a hot tub. After waiting for hours after we turned it on, we were told it is not a hot tub it is a SPA that will get only to 80 degrees. This was very disappointing and this part of the listing is inaccurate/ misleading. Host was responsive. The house is decently clean.

This house has it ALL! Located in the heart of the island. The beach is 1/2 a block away, supermarket across the street, several restaurants within a 5 block radius, including the entertainment district! No need for a vehicle. The house is private, spacious and well equipped for large groups. The 4 bedrooms have plenty of room and comfortable beds for everyone. The large backyard has a gas grill and plenty of seating to entertain outdoors. Of course the gorgeous pool and hot tub provided hours of entertainment and relaxation. The hot tub was a pleasure to relax in especially on cool days and nights ! We will be back again and again!! Thanks for everything!!

Couple friends retreat

The space was fantastic, walking distance to the beach and house layout with pool is excellent. Room for improvement in amenities available including, more towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper goods etc. There were not enough towels provided for our group of 8 adults for basic showering. When we arrived the sheets were not clean on 2/4 beds and there were ants in the pantry - they were very responsive and addressed any issues immediately sending a crew over to clean and address our concerns. Would recommend a more clear explanation of how little is provided in the home as far as amenities or improvements in those areas.

This home was large and fit our party fine, but definitely lacking extras for all the essentials. No extra garbage bags or soap or towels or blankets. The pool and hot tub weren’t in top working condition either so that was really disappointing as that’s why we booked. However the home is very large and fit everyone in our party, when we requested things from the host they did send a house cleaner with some extra things, and someone to clean the pool, but the issue wasn’t resolved. Paid a lot for the issues to happen.

Great location, but a few issues

The house layout is beautiful & location is amazing! We had issues with ants on the kitchen counter & pantry. The outside trash bin was full, so the outside smelled when we arrived. This also made it challenging for us to throw the inside trash. Restroom sink wouldn’t drain properly. Pool felt heated and grill was dirty. Overall, the house could have used a good cleaning. Couches had stains & some doors need a paint job. The white doors look dirty. Otherwise, we would have rated this house a five.

We rented this house because it had a pool and hot tub. When we checked in we found the hot tub water was very low and the pool was cold. I called right away and I was told to fill the hot turn with the garden hose and try the to start it. It didn’t work so I called again. A pool tech was finally sent out and tried to fix it. Know one informed use of what was going on with it before the tech left without the pool and hot tub fixed. I called again the next day the tech was sent out and after several hours was able to get the hot tub fixed. Long story short we never were able to use the pool it was way too cold. I was very disappointed with this rental. Vacasa shouldn’t have listings available if things like this aren’t working.

Nice size and location with easy check-in, but one BIG issue

Nice size and location with easy check-in, but one BIG issue. The prior renters' trash was not removed from the property before we checked in. When we arrived, the trash bin in front of the property was overflowing with days and days of old smelly trash which poured onto the ground attracting insects and crows. Due to the summer heat, the smell was so pungent that it started seeping through the walls of the home. We contacted the property mgmt company who sent someone out within hours (very friendly service); however, was unable to resolve the matter. So for the duration of our stay we were forced to just deal with it. This also left no place for us to dispose of the trash we accumulated during our stay. Needless to say, we avoided spending time at the house except to sleep.

The photos are deceiving. They are definitely photo shopped to make the pool larger and rooms. The hot tub buttons were peeling off, so we didn't know what the buttons controlled. The back side of the house around the roof looks like it has black mold, and the gutter or siding is falling off. We received a text letting us know "If earlier check-in is available, we will text you separately." The day of check-in I made contact a little over one hour earlier than check-in time to ask about checking in early since I never received anything. They told me "early check-in would not be possible because this property doesn't offer it." If it isn't offered, why was it even mentioned? The table was noticeably dirty upon arriving with circles from cups being sat on it which made me question everything else in the house. Take extra trash bags with you as we weren't supplied enough for our stay and had to purchase some. We went during off season so had we booked this during summer when the rates are 3x or 4x what we paid I would be extremely upset.
