Great place with lots of games and everything you could need. Awesome that we could access the pool while we were there and Suncadia was incredibly nice to let us delay our stay due to a family illness at the last minute. Great customer service.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
The house experience was decent but the involvement of Suncadia in the process made it miserable - makes zero sense that you can book through VRBO, like any other rental, but because it’s in suncadia you have to go to their main hotel to check in. Adds layers of unnecessary steps, frustration, and complication. In addition this adds frustration for their hotel guests as it bottlenecks the check in process for everyone - checking into a VRBO at a random property is much easier. When we went to check in the breeze way was clogged and the line for the front desk was out into the sitting area behind the lobby. Another frustration was that VRBO shows the property check in is 4pm but it wasn’t ready until close to 6pm and suncadia told us “check in is actually 4-6pm”One minor opportunity for improvement - kitchen needs some dish towels.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustrations you encountered during your stay, especially the delayed readiness of the home on arrival. Your visit took place during Winterfest, one of our busiest times of the year, and while that is never an excuse, we regret that the home was not ready at the standard 4:00 PM check-in time.
We’re also very sorry for the missing kitchen dish towels. These are normally provided in every home, and due to an unexpected laundry service issue with our linen vendor, they were unfortunately unavailable. We understand how inconvenient that can be and apologize for the oversight.
We appreciate you sharing your feedback and are grateful for the opportunity to continue improving the guest experience. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we hope you will give us another chance and come back again soon.
Since there’s no drive-through lane or anyone directing traffic during check in at the lodge, our car was trapped amongst multiple cars and we were unable to exit to our nice house.
Great property - some maintenance and housekeeping issues
Great house and great location close to the swim and fitness center, Inn and lodge. There were some housekeeping and maintenance issues-bunk bed in need of repair, broken toilet paper holder, shower head needed replacing, two burners on the stove didn’t work, grill wouldn’t light, cobwebs everywhere, had to hunt for sheets and blankets (found them stuffed in a random closet on the floor), no dish sponge, no dishwashing detergent, no dish towels, no pot holders, no laundry detergent, etc. We called the front desk and were told the missing items would be delivered, but had to call twice more before they were finally delivered. We’d stay in the house again, but hopefully some attention will be given to maintenance and housekeeping will ensure the house is stocked with basic items and some repairs are made before the next guests.
Nice, clean, beautiful home situated close to the Suncadia resort activities! The resort staff were responsive during our weekend staycation. The only thing missing from this home is a “Welcome Book” with the home’s “how-to” details and possible out of town visitor suggestions for navigating the area.
Had a great time and a nice stay. I didn’t give 5 stars because the sleeping arrangements in the photos were 2 beds side by side in the loft but in reality it was a bunk bed arrangement.
Communication leading up to and during stay were great. While the kitchen supplies are well stocked, I’d recommend bringing some personal favorites to use such as pans and serving platters if preferred.
We needed a get away with all we have experienced in 2020 and this house was ideal. We arrived in a snow storm which made it a winter wonderland once we got settled. We loved this house so much for its comfort, the amazing appliances and the overall quality and condition. We had some difficulty figuring out how to operate the tv system, but eventually worked it out. Linens and comfort of the bed was outstanding. We most definitely would love to make another visit to this lovely home.
