Very nice property in a rural setting. Approximately 10 minutes to Beaune. The couple running it were very nice and helpful too. About 15 minutes to Omaha Beach. Highly recommended!
Glorious, Peaceful, Charming, Safe, Clean and Easy Access to Everything D-Day Related
This is the ideal retreat after busy and often emotional days of sightseeing and the perfect first stopover from almost all ferry terminals if you are heading further South. Hosts are thoughtful, welcoming and have clearly put in a lot of time and effort to create and manage this fab little gite. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for your very kind comment. It was a great pleasure to receive you at home. We are so happy you liked it and you had a great time. We hope to see you again in the future.
We had a lovely couple of nights. The cottage was equipped with everything that you may need and was beautifully furnished. We loved sitting on the edge of the sweetcorn fields and watching the butterflies. So close to WW2 beaches.

A great place to stay for those interested in WWII history
The cottage was very charming and comfortable. My family spent 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the peacefulness. With our busy days exploring what Normandy had to offer, we didn't realize our host Jose Luis himself was also passionate about the war. My grandfather landed on Omaha on D-Day. He was with the 116th reg of the 29th Inf/Div and was captured by the Germans on his way to St. Lo. Jose Luis was very interested in my grandpa's story and shown us his own collection of WW2 artifacts. We especially want to thank Jose Luis for sharing his collection and for letting us ride on his 1943 Willy jeep. It was one of our highlights of the trip and we will never forget it,
This property is idyllically located and immaculately appointed. It was the perfect base for myself and my son to spend time visiting the Normandy beaches and beautiful town of Bayeux. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate returning. Thanks so much for your hospitality. we hope to see you again, Kind Regards, Caroline O'brien
