Thank you for the great review. We also love it up there. You need to come back during the summer and also enjoy the river.
Had a wonderful time, exactly as pictured. Great location for everything we wanted to do while there. Beds were not super comfortable and the linens/towels werent good quality, but we didn't really mind and that wouldn't stop us from staying here again.
Had a nice vacation with family at this property fishing off the dock and sitting on deck enjoying the lake view, griilling, and roasting marshmellows on firepit.

Thanks for the great review, we love our Tennessee house as well. Matter fact, blocked it out to come play on the water this weekend. It’s nice to be able to water ski and play without lots of boat traffic and the water doesn’t feel like bathwater.
The property was very clean, the host quick to reply to communication. The grounds were very peaceful, could sit on the deck and watch my husband fish from the dock, read a good book, truly relax! Would definitely stay again!
The house could have been cleaner. There were cob webs and dust bunnies. Other then that the house was very nice.

Very rare that I receive a rating not 10/10. Sorry that you felt the house could have been cleaner. It is in the country so spiders are a constant battle. We try to be environmentally responsible and balance insecticides. Every cleaning all sheets and bed spreads are washed, floors are mopped, house vacuumed, counters wiped down, showers cleaned. Every Winter a deep clean is done (Windows, Pressure washed outside, Window sills, under all furniture etc). I think I provided an excellent value for $125 a night a house with a kitchen, safe area, sleeps 6, and privacy. The end of season cleaning will be happening this winter. Good luck with your future rentals. (I noticed I'm your 1st review ever given)
This beautiful home was perfect!! The scenery was gorgeous. We enjoyed watching nature - from fish jumping in the lake to the crane who visited each evening. It was so peaceful.
We had a nice stay. The view was therapeutic! There were list of nice hikes nearby and an easy day trip into Chattanooga.

We are going this weekend to do some of the hikes to waterfalls. A lot to do within a hour in all directions from my house. Thanks for the great review
Enjoyed the back boat dock the most. Peaceful in the mornings with sightings of rabbits, deer across the cove, fish jumping and the gar no one could seem to catch. Loved the downstairs TV room and enjoyed the space for karaoke. Very comfortable.

About the host

We wanted a place where the whole family could get together and everyone have something to do. I'm a contractor and my wife is a school teacher. During the remodeling of the home we fell in love with the area. Beautiful wildlife, friendly people and plenty to do in the area.
Why they chose this property
Wanted to be on the Tenn river. Hope one day to do the great loop (have to google it). Love being able to go to Chattanooga on the river. Boat ramp across the cove (3 min?). Love the dark nights and wonderful sunrises/sets.
What makes this property unique
The upper Chickamauga has less traffic and plenty of quite places to fish/ski. Tons of birds in the area. Recently spotted a bald eagle in the cove.
