About this property

Enjoy a quiet escape close to all of the outdoor activities East Tennessee has to offer. We have everything you need to feel more than comfortable. Located halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville, 15 minutes off Interstate-75.

Retreat to the country with modern conveniences at Lakehaven at Chickamauga. A haven for fishermen with level parking/power for 4 boats and 7 minutes to 2 boat ramps including Agency Creek. A haven for creatives or wedding guests in search of a true getaway. We have room for 4-6 people maximum.

Other things to note:
- Signed Rental Agreement and Gov't IDs required at time of booking.
- To book our home, you must be 25 years or older.
- We are across the street from Chickamauga Lake.
- We do not have cable but streaming is available.
- Wi-Fi is provided, but due to the rural location can be slow.
- Outdoor security cameras are installed.

Half acre lot with seasonal fruit trees: blueberries, plums, apples, and pears. The back deck has a grill for evening cookouts. Level circular and straight gravel driveways allow for easy boat parking/power for 4 boats. New carport with power, too! Neighborhood overview: 1.5 mile neighborhood loop comprised of friendly full & part time residents. It offers nature paths and lake access (no boat ramp) managed by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).

Guest access:
You'll have access to the entire home and carport, with the exception of one owner storage closet, garage, and outdoor shed.

Getting around:
Located in East Tennessee, halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville, 15 minutes off Interstate-75.

7 minutes to 2 boat ramps at Chickamauga Lake and Hiwassee River.
20 minutes to Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge which attracts migrating Sandhill Cranes and Pelicans November - January.

Less than an hour to hiking and waterfalls, Hiwassee Ocoee State Park, Laurel Snow State Natural Area, Ocoee River Watersports, scuba diving at Loch Low Minn & Philadelphia Quarries, Chattanooga Aquarium, The Lost Sea, Bryan College, Tennessee Wesleyan, and Lee University.

Tournament stay

Remote home great for disconnecting

I always find rating a place to be subjective because what I might like about a property others may not. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms well stocked, the beds were very comfortable with extra blankets provided. The location is remote (which we enjoyed): 30 minutes to surrounding towns for dining/shopping, but it's October and the drive on the country roads was beautiful! There is no internet or Wi-Fi, but we were able to connect and stream movies by using the hotspot on my phone, which I connected to my laptop and then ran an HDMI cord to the tv. We took several walks around the neighborhood - it makes a 1.5 mile loop. We worked puzzles, drank lots of coffee and a little wine, stayed up way too late watching movies and eating way too much junk food. It was the perfect get-away weekend for my best friend and I!
