This renovated 4 bedrooms / 3 full bathrooms offers a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, high-speed internet & a 200 SF terrace. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping, and many attractions.

Some free street parking can be found at times.
We have 1 spot located behind the apartment ($30 car/night).
The closest indoor parking lot is located at 400 rue de Malines.

Mont-Royal Avenue, Mount Royal Mountain, and St-Laurent Boulevard are less than a 5-minute walk. Whether it is for a family vacation, a friend's reunion, or a business trip, this apartment is perfect.

Once you book this space, you will have access to the whole apartment, which is located on the 3rd and top floor.
There are 12 steps to climb to reach the 1st level and another 20 steps inside to reach the top floor. There is NO elevator.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal is one of the most popular and vibrant places to stay in Montreal. It has a ton of shops and cafés as well as many "mom and pop" stores.

Le Metro Mont-Royal is a 5-minute walk. Taking the subway is the easiest and least expensive way to get around Montreal. It's also the best way to avoid traffic and parking tickets.

Taxis or Uber are also easily found in Montreal.

- This apartment has 1 indoor camera (facing the front street door) for break-in prevention only. No live feed and no view inside.

- You will be asked to provide your email and phone number once the booking is confirmed by VRBO. We reserve the right to ask for ID if the reservation is made less than 30 days in advance.

- You must be 25 years old to rent this apartment. Anyone under the age of 21 not accompanied by a parent will need to provide the parent's or legal guardian's consent in writing.

- No 3rd party reservation will be accepted. The person making the reservation must be present during the stay.

- Visitors and additional guests are not permitted on the premises.

- Non-smoking policy: Cigarettes and cigars are tolerated only if smoked OUTSIDE. Marijuana is NOT permitted on the premises, not even on the balcony. When smoking outside, please do not through cigarette butts on the ground.

- With the rise of car theft in Montreal, anyone driving in should consider bringing a steering wheel lock bar or any other device that could keep the car from driving away (like a car boot). Anyone driving SUVs, especially Toyota Highlander, Honda CRV, any type of Lexus, Jeep (all kinds), Pickup trucks, or Toyota Rav4 Hybrid is encouraged to use indoor lots (the closest is located at 400 rue de Malines, a 10-minute walk away).
As a courtesy, we have a steering wheel bar available that guests can borrow.

The perfect place

We had a really wonderful stay at this FAB rental! Spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfortable couches, large terrace, easy check-in process, great communication with the hosts, and a fantastic neighborhood made our visit perfect.

We loved the apartment, we loved the neighborhood and the owner support and communication was top notch. The location was so perfect for us. We were able to park our school van in the open lot that was so close and then used the provided wheel lock for theft prevention. Metro, restaurant, bakery, drug store all within a couple blocks. We hope to be back next year!

A hidden gem

The building entrance on street-view does not do justice to the quality of the home within. Our family of seven (over three generations) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, bright, secure third floor apartment. The owners were very responsive and came immediately to fix a minor issue with the apartment when we informed them of it. Communications were timely and informative, and we had a lovely Grand Prix weekend as a result.

Wonderful Stay!

Great Property with Amazing Hosts

This property was great for our recent family trip to Montreal. It is a great location that is in close proximity to lots of activities around the city. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive. The apartment was very clean and had everything we could possibly need.

There were 11 adults and everyone was very comfortable. We loved the showers , the deck where we ate every morning. And we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful apartment

We loved this property! Clean and comfortable, outstanding host communication, fantastic location. The pictures are very accurate. It was walkable to so many places to eat and shop, quick access to the metro to explore other parts of the city and parking was easy for us. It rained every day so we didn’t enjoy the deck but it seemed very nice. Beds were very comfortable and our teens loved having their own rooms.

Great apartment near Mont Royal

The apartment was great and had plenty of room for our whole family. We were traveling for the Formula 1 race. The location is very convenient to the Mont Royal metro station which made an easy commute to and from the race. Great neighborhood! The owners were very responsive and helped us out with a dishwasher issue right away. Overall it was a great stay!

Beautiful, Clean, Quiet, and Great Location. We also loved the back deck! Be aware, there are a few stairs to the door and then a longer staircase inside to this top level flat. This is a great apartment but would not be accessible to anyone unable to negotiate a steep staircase.

Great space, great location

We spent a long weekend in Montreal and booked this space. It’s a great location - so many things to see and do in the neighborhood. It’s also a short ride to Old Port for more restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Would highly recommend the back terrace for a glass of wine in the evening. Communication was excellent from booking to checkout!

Lovely Apartment and Stay

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely and spacious apartment. The listing was accurate and the space was clean and perfect for hosting, especially the back patio. A fantastic week!

Great place to stay!

Frederique was an awesome hostess! She was very accommodating and followed up promptly on all the questions about the city that my friends and I had. It was perfect!

Came with a group of 11 girls and rented both the 2nd and 3rd floor units: Incredible! The units were gorgeous, spacious, well equipped, beautiful patios - nothing was lacking! It was simply perfect and there was no better way to enjoy a girls weekend in Montreal!

Great apt, great nbh, top floor

The managers are great (very easy and prompt communication), the apartment is large and very nice. The neighborhood is fantastic: lots of restaurants and bakeries, bookstore, game store...everything you need. As the listing says, the apt is on the top floor with no elevator. This is a plus overall for us, but you do need to be prepared to carry your luggage up one tall exterior flight and one tall interior flight. There is a little street noise in the front two bedrooms but not bad even on the weekend. The back and side bedrooms are very quiet.It's a great place overall--we would definitely go back when we are visiting Montreal again!

Lovely and large Plateau apartment

This was a great apartment. It was right in the Plateau (in my view the best neighborhood in Montreal) and was spacious -- it's difficult to find four bedrooms, let alone three bathrooms. Everything was clean. The only thing I didn't love is how much cleaning guests have to do before checkout, but despite that I would still rent this apartment again.

Could not have a better location!

This stay was incredibly beautiful and stress free thanks to this property and its manager. We had a minor issue flying in and she was able to accommodate us which helped immensely. We didn't need a car simply because this was an ideal location and we could either walk or have a 10 minute bike ride to anywhere we needed to go which saved us extra money. The interior of this place was beautiful and the showers were some of the best I have ever used. Can't recommend this place and the property owner enough!

Frederique is the ultimate host

Frederique is an incredible communicator and checks in to ensure we had everything we needed. Provided us early access to the apartment once the maids were done and allowed us to check out later as no guests were arriving next day. Couldn't have asked for a better host! Bonus points - the property was perfect and spacious and in a great location!

Great location, great space, clean

This flat is in a great location, close to lots of food and shops. Check in and out was easy. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed. The back patio was a great bonus. The only thing we could have wanted more of were towels. The air conditiong worked well. There are a lot of stairs which was fine for us, but if anyone has trouble climbing stairs, this wouldn't be a good place for them as there is no elevator.

Bernhard and Frederique spent almost 20 years traveling the world on cruise ships working in several departments. This is where they met and after a true Love Boat story (they literally met on the Love Boat!), they decided to elect permanent residence in Montreal where Frederique was born and where they spent the last few years working in the property management field.

Because they love it so much, they decided to buy this 2nd rental property located in the best part of town, Le Plateau Mont-Royal and to start welcoming people from around the world.

In 2016, their daughter Abigail was born and so was FAB HomeRentals. It just worked out perfectly. F for Frederique, A for Abigail and B for Bernhard. FAB!
