Renting occasionally. CITQ registration # 315851; Montreal # 3003547837 - 25 Very beautiful waterfront mansion built with style and size. If you like size and quality, this is the rare find! You won't find two like this in Montreal! A stunning 6-bedroom waterfront mansion located in the island of Montreal. We're at the junction of the two main rivers of Montreal: The Prairie River and the St Lawrence River. 20 minutes from downtown (Saputo stadium, Place des arts, Biodome...) It was designed with originality and built in a chateau style by an Italian architect. As you'll see It's a perfect masterpiece and we're doing our best to keep that top standard. The property consists of the main house with 6 large bedrooms including one independent accessible room on the ground floor. All other rooms are upstairs, all very big and well designed as you can see from the pictures. There are very beautiful outdoor areas, huge private pool and yard, an immense finely landscaped Italian garden with rare flowers and diverse trees in the front and in the back. Ideal for peaceful living, private get together and collaboration, good time by the water, jet ski, boat tours and even fishing all seasons (incl. ice fishing). You'll have the whole house, which is 6000+ square feet. This does not include the basement. The basement by local Quebec law is not included in the rental. The basement is used by the caretaker guys with a separate entrance. If the guests have needs they can call or text the caretaker who will assist within five minutes. You can have your small private gathering with moderate music inside only. No loud music outside please! The backyard is very big and extends up to the water. The mature trees and the water attract all beautiful birds who like this place too. They often sing in the trees and in the fine flowers around the pool. The pool is an Olympic size masterpiece with a shallow end and a 9 feet deep end. If you cannot swim, stay in the separated shallow area. Although we provide life jackets, a caretaker on call, a fenced access and floaties on the water, it's always good to be vigilant. We can arrange a boat rental for you at extra cost. The nearest airports are Montréal Pierre Eliot Trudeau (30 minutes) and Saint-Hubert Airport (18 minutes). No loud music outside, please. Inside music should be moderate.

It was a great honor to be chosen by these nice young men from Denmark. And accommodate all the 17 so comfortably in the villa after adding two extra beds.
Thanks God the house is big. We could house even more.
Wonderful accommodation. Host was there to greet us and showed us where everything was located. The bedrooms were large and the house and property gigantic. Would recommend.
River view beautiful family size house that offers a home experience. The host was easy to communicate with through the process, very attentive to our family requests, and facilitate check in/out.
Hoping for a next stay in summer to enjoy the pool and river experience.

It is a beautiful older home with a well maintained pool. Interior of home needs updates and repairs. Ice maker in refrigerator is broken, and several floor tiles cracked. For the amount of money charged per night, I expected to have some privacy. The home owner/care taker, and his extended family, occupy the lowest/ground level of the house. You can hear the children and family in lowest level through doors. The windows on lower level, facing pool where owner lives, leave little privacy if you're swimming or outside enjoying the backyard space. Doors to lower level, in home, (garage entrance and entrance through dining area), where owner occupies, can't be secured to the rented living space (owner/care taker can enter home at will). Best to have no expectations of privacy while you are there. Also, you have no access to park car(s) in garage, just driveway parking. The driveway and front yard were frequently occupied by Owner and/or extended family. Garbage bin(s) were overflowing and had a foul odor of rotting trash and are located directly beside the steps to front door, which is your entryway to home. Owner requested us to vacate backyard for 10 minutes so Owner could escort a group of people to waterfront through fenced in backyard. We frequently rent higher ended homes as we travel extensively, but due to the lack of privacy and general disrepair, of interior, we would NOT stay here again.

Thanks for pointing out.
Sorry to hear that.
Regarding the basement door, No one can just enter at will. It's just in a case of emergency and the caretaker will get your permission first.
The bin truck didn't collect the bin the Wednesday before. The caretaker was suposed to store it behind the fence. He noticed the problem later.
Regarding the people in the basement, the caretaker had a visit of his family members from August 5th to August 7th.
The rest of the points have beenaddressed and the technician made the repairs.
Bon service du propriétaire. La location à répondu à nos attentes.

Why they chose this property
Location, size and style. Designed and built by a renowned Italian architect who wanted to built his dream home in Canada. What you'll find here is all that masterpiece. Everything is big and well designed. A long driveway at the front, the garage opens to the back where you can park more cars. You don't need the street parking, which is also free anyway. Gardens in front and the back. The backyard is humongous and goes all the way to the water where you can even fish or just relax.
