Needs more transparency

One of our group is allergic to animal hair. The owners have 4 or 5 dogs, that tried to get into our lodge every time the door was open. There was no mention of this in the info ( not everyone is a dog lover). I also had the misfortune to step in their "mess", really unhappy with that. We couldn't even sit out when it was dry as the dogs immediately came over. One of the owners family was riding around on a dirt bike, right outside the lodges, around 10pm. I know that isn't too late, but anyone with young children would have problems with that. I certainly don't want to hear that when I'm trying to relax. The entire complex is very tired looking. The gutters are leaking like mad, and it rained a lot so that just added to the noise. On the surface it looked clean enough but not on a closer look. The cutlery drawer has crumbs in it, the toaster clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while as was full of crumbs. There are dirty marks on the walls ( looked like squished bugs) and there were spider webs on the inside of the windows. We followed the check in instructions and called both the numbers, the landline was not in use and we tried the mobile several times and got no reply. We resorted to leaving a voicemail but got no call back. There was margarine, salad cream and curly fries left in the fridge and freezer from previous occupants, that should have been cleared out prior to our arrival. The listing is definitely not clear enough and I would not book this again.
