Big country house in Burgundy!

A haven of peace! This refurbished house once stood as the train station of Bona village. 30min from Nevers and 2h30 from Paris. Travellers will enjoy 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a veranda. Limited neighbourhood. Accommodation includes a vast land and numerous outdoor activities on-site like the swimming pool among others. Ideal for sporting souls. The perfect spot for green holidays in the French countryside, with family or friends, far from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Deep in the Burgundian department of Nièvre, this former old-style train station allows adults and kids to escape from the heckling of the city to spend a quiet and pleasant holiday in the French countryside. The house, perfect for family gatherings or holidays with friends, has 5 bedrooms, two of which, upstairs, with view on the fields and cows that gamble on them. Two rooms on the ground floor are communicating while another has an attached bathroom. The capacity is 12 people but you can be up to 15 with 3 extra beds. We recommend this accommodation for groups.

The 5000 square meters of wooded ground includes a well and gives all its charm to the accommodation, offering a large space that will convince you to practice outdoor activities. Numerous seasonal fruit trees (apples, pears, raspberries...) will encourage you to make healthy fruit salads.

Many leisure activities will allow you to relax especially the long swimming pool (unheated), available from spring to autumn, as well as hammocks. You may jump on the large trampoline, compete in epic table tennis matches on an outdoor table, or even play football on its dedicated pitch. The huge treehouse will delight the youngest ones. Several board games, air hockey and DVDs will occupy your evenings unless you prefer to sit and chat around a brasero while stargazing. Finally, to satisfy your hunger after so much fun, a charcoal BBQ is at your disposal.

Nearby, you may wish to visit the historic centre of Nevers and its cathedral, the picturesque village of Apremont-sur-Allier, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, or also the legendary circuit of Magny-Cours. You can also use the house as a base to explore the amazing Morvan Regional Natural Park and its fir forests. There you may find the Lac de Pannecière or the Lac des Settons, a prime lake for water sports, and so much more!

-The maximum depth of the pool reaches 1m80.
-Mobile network and 4g are of poor quality within the house. You can capture them in the town of Sept Voies which is 5min away by car.
-The nearest supermarket is at 6km in Saint-Bénin-d'Azy.
-Please note that as a part of the check-in process, all guests coming from abroad are required to fill out a simple online registration form ahead of their arrival as required by the French law.
