Peace and Tranquility

We have stayed at lots of holiday cottages over the years and this one beats the lot. For the first time it felt we were staying in someone's beautiful house (which we were of course) and not a holiday let. The hall and its gardens made this stay memorable. I had my birthday while here which added to the experience. Our hosts Mark and Adrian were excellent and took time to talk about the area and about the history of the hall. All in all the best. We will be back next year for another two weeks.

Great property and friendly hosts

Well appointed property with large rooms and a comfortable bed. Lots to see and do locally just a few miles from the property, but a car is essential. TV and WiFi worked fine but the DVD player would not play our DVD's (lens may need to be cleaned but it was not essential for us so we did not bother with it). Altogether a quiet and relaxing stay and We would highly recommend it.
