The cottage was very sweet, and had some pretty features. We had hired it for my son and daughter in law who were over from Canada for three weeks and they found it comfortable and enjoyed their stay. The owners helped quickly with a couple of minor hitches. Be aware that the outside space is not secure for younger children, this was not an issue for us as they spent a lot of time at our property locally. Overall we would use The Old Cottage again.
We had a great stay at the Old Cottage. It was in the perfect spot for visiting our family while we were over from Canada. The cottage was clean and cozy and had all the laundry and dishwashing facilities that we needed for a 10 day stay with a toddler. Communicating with the property manager was a little frustrating as it is technically run through Sykes Holidays. We needed to adjust our stay and needed to jump through several hoops to do that as VRBO is not the actual rental company that the host uses. Once I gave up using VRBO and used the Sykes app directly, it was a lot easier. The stay was fantastic, the place was lovely and comfortable. I just found communicating with the property managers very challenging.
