Gîte de charme la Blancherie

Welcome to La Blancherie, an old farmhouse from 1824, completely renovated.
The house is surrounded by a hectare of majestic trees, it is the ideal place to meet with family or friends around the fireplace in winter or on the terrace in summer for moments of conviviality.
It is a semi-detached house, totally independent facing EAST, not overlooked, surrounded by a landscaped garden, a well-kept lawn, fruit trees, in its green setting.
Everything is provided for relaxation, rest, contemplation.
The "master" bedroom, on one level, has a bathroom, the other two bedrooms are independent and share the second bathroom
The large living room is very bright and pleasant at any time and in any season, it has a very well equipped adjoining kitchen and level access to the terrace and the garden.
4 minutes by car from the town centre (20 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by bike) of Forcalquier, a charming little town, known for its markets (Monday and Thursday), its producers, its restaurants, shops and galleries.
For hiking lovers, the region is full of walks or bike rides (some from home!). Several exceptional natural sites are easy to access (Mourres Natural Park, Colorado Provençal, the Verdon gorges, the lakes of Sainte Croix and Esparron), as well as the unmissable Valensole, Banon, Aix en Provence...

We had an excellent stay at La Blancherie in Forcalquier. The gîte is beautifully designed, perfectly equipped, and so peaceful. We immediately felt at home and were able to truly rest and recharge. A wonderful place we would gladly return to!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at the La Blancherie gîte in Forcalquier. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming us with warmth and attention while remaining discreet. Their availability and local recommendations greatly enhanced our experience. The gîte itself is beautiful, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and very well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the peace and beauty of the garden. A perfect place to unwind in Provence, with attentive hosts and a charming setting. We would definitely love to return!

Picturesque Countryside and Cottage

The cottage super clean, well-appointed, and centrally located for exploring and excursions. The window screens were appreciated. As was the washing machine. Julie and Patrick were knowledgeable, kind, patient, friendly, and helpful. Forcalquier was charming with fantastic markets, specialties, and artisanal merchants. We walked to the supermarket a couple times and cycled the hills and dells of the surrounding areas. Would love to return

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Von der Terrasse schaut man ins Grüne, vom Pool hat man eine tolle Aussicht in die Ferne. Julie, ihre Familie und ihre Hunde waren sehr sympathische Gastgeber und habe uns viele gute Tips für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung gegeben. Wir würden dort jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen.

Ein Traum, nicht nur aufgrund des schönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Hauses und der einmaligen Natur und Ruhe, sondern auch wegen der außerordentlich freundlichen und sympatischen Eigentümer. Wir haben jede Minute unseres Aufenthalts genossen. Die Terrasse mit dem weiten Blick ins Grüne verwöhnt das Auge, schenkt nachhaltige Entspannung und wunderschöne Momente; Nachtigall, Pirol, Wiedehopf und viele andere Vogelarten verwöhnen das Gehör. Wir hoffen, dass wir bald wiederkommen können :o)
