We've been coming to the Finger Lakes as an extended family trip for a week each summer for decades. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. There was plenty of space for our large party, easy access to the beach, beautiful clear water, and a beach full of fossils which the kids (and grown ups) had fun looking for. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone. Hoping we can be back again soon!

The stay was very nice! My one complaint was that there were no paper towels, so it was difficult to thoroughly clean, and there was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. Other than that, I was pleased.

Great house!

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and loved every second of it! The house is perfect for a big group. Only con was no mirrors in a lot of the bedrooms.

Fantastic vacation house for our group of 19 ladies! The kitchen was equipped for all our cooking needs. Plenty of bathrooms to go around for so many women. Only problem was that we were there for just 2 days, definitely needed more time! Would highly recommend!

The property didn’t have working hot water for three of the four days that we stayed there. We were unable to take showers for much of the trip, which was a big impediment on the trip, including limiting our ability to use the lake. The dishwasher was not functional as a result, which meant we had to buy plates, cups, etc. and lots of handwashing. At one point there was standing water in the basement utility room, which also meant we couldn’t access the laundry machine. What was equally frustrating is how they dealt with it afterwards. They provided a minor refund (1/3 off of a single night, so about 8% of the fee), based on their claim that the problems were “unforeseeable.” Clearly, that suggests to me that they are not in fact doing very much to monitor the property.Beyond that, the property is just ok. A little dated and not the cleanest rental I’ve stayed at. There are better options in the area. The lake view is beautiful though.

A fantastic lake rental!

This house was awesome!! The space was perfect for our weekend with the multiple levels. The game room was our favorite and we got so excited over the ice machine -- that was a nice surprise! Def would stay here again!

Lake house girls weekend

This beautiful lake house was easy to find and easy to book. The lake house offered ample space with 12 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a large fully stocked kitchen, and beautiful outdoor relaxation spaces. My sisters, nieces, and I had a fantastic girls weekend getaway.

Great overall experience!

Overall an amazing house. Perfect for what we needed, having our wedding party and their significant others together in such a beautiful location was perfect. The only small thing we noted: one of the bedrooms is a loft, which may not be ideal for everyone.

A Great Birthday Party

The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.
