The place is quite rustic and the photos do not really show how dark and tired some of the rooms are - it isn’t the light, bright space that the photos suggest. Very few electric points and no electric bedside lamps, just rechargeable led lanterns (one of which wasn’t working) I contacted the owner about a wasps nest we identified in the eaves of the roof but had no response. We left before our last evening and found different accommodation locally as we were supposed to be joined by family as I didn’t want to bring my small granddaughter there. It’s very rural and authentic if that’s what you are looking for but the photos suggest a brighter, more airy and more modern space.

Je suis au regret de devoir rejeter les fausses allégations de ce voyageur. Je n’ai reçu aucun message m’informant d’un départ anticipé. Les voyageurs ont quitté la maison le 8 septembre à 11h. Je n’ai reçu aucun message m’informant de la présence d’un nid de guêpes Il n’y a d’ailleurs pas de nid de guêpes, nous vérifions tout après chaque départ. Par contre, j’ai des preuves de la dégradation de deux poêles neuves, d’un volet et du portail. Et si la maison est moins lumineuse que sur les photos, c’est que les magnifiques magnolias ont poussé et qu’ils vous protègent des fortes chaleurs. Je ne souhaite à aucun hôte de recevoir ce type de voyageurs qui en plus ont bénéficié d’une promotion, comme indiqué dans mon commentaire sur vous.
