Sleeps 7 comfortably with plenty of space to spare. Huge soaking tub overlooking the pristine Pine Stump Preserve of the Au Sable State Forest. This bathroom also hosts a large walk in shower.
A true outdoor enthusiasts paradise! Back country rustic setting where wildlife abounds. World class fly fishing, kayaking, and canoeing right out the back door. Property borders of state land. Easy access to the Frederick ORV trails right down the road!
Home is located 45 minutes from northern Michigans treasured Traverse City. Wineries, Breweries, golf, shopping, and boating only a short drive away.
A perfect Basecamp for you to truly enjoy and explore Michigan’s beautiful Up North. A note of caution, the two track roads are unimproved, therefore be prepared for various conditions as we are not responsible for inability to access or damage to vehicle. 4WD recommended

We loved this place! The cabin was beautifully decorated and SO clean. We enjoyed the isolated location and proximity to the river. After a day of exploring around northern Michigan, this was a wonderful place to come home to. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning watching the birds and gazing at the beautiful stars at night. We will be back!

Kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, appliances, etc. DVDs and board games available for rainy weather. Nice deck for listening to birds and enjoying nature. If you are looking for comfort and solitude, this is the place. Beautifully furnished with everything you need to Enjoy your stay. Two minute walk to the river and lots of do ( fishing, hiking,etc). Looking forward to booking again.

Super far back in the woods, very secluded, such a great place to get away and unwind!! Had a hard time finding it because it’s so far back but owners gave us great step by step directions. Will definitely book it again in the future!

A Very Nice Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our time here. A great location for everything "Up North", spent time at Hartwick Pines, Gaylord, Grayling, Otsego Lake, and Charlevoix all in a four day weekend as it was conveniently located to all. After spending the day out it was great to come back and relax while kids played about. Very impressed and would recommend.

Another perfect vacation!

This was our second consecutive year staying at this property. We love the seclusion and tranquility it provides our family. The kids played in the woods and we kayaked the river launching directly in front of the house. The fires at night were excellent and the stars were out in abundance. We had a fantastic vacation!

Beautiful gem on the Manistee

We had a fantastic time at this property. It was very remote and quiet. We were able to relax, play, and cool great foods. It was everything we needed for a weekend away and out in the woods. Cheers.
