Unusual mill

The windmill was built in 1885, so it is steeped in history. It was renovated in 2006. It is one of the only mills available for rent in the Vendée. Come and take the opportunity to sleep...
It is intended for a couple.
You will have access to the entire accommodation.
It is located 300m from a small village.
You will spend a pleasant stay in peace and quiet with a total change of scenery. The cows, sheep, birds and church bells in the distance will accompany you in your tranquility.

The bed will be made on arrival for your comfort.
ALL BED AND HOUSEHOLD LINEN ARE PROVIDED + THE CLEANING FEE IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL.

The windmill is arranged on four levels: a kitchen is located on the ground floor, equipped with granite worktop, a ceramic hob, a grill/microwave, a large fridge/small freezer, and other household appliances (coffee maker, kettle, croque-waffle, toaster, blender, mixer, pancake pan) will allow you to cook according to your desires.

A curved wrought iron staircase leads to the living room, furnished with a non-convertible sofa, a DVD TV (no antenna), board games (scrabble, dooble, card games, small horses, checkers, chess, escape game...), books and DVDs (for adults and children) will allow you to spend good times with your family. THE STOVE IS FORBIDDEN TO BE USED FOR RENT.

The original wooden staircase (with its sweet melody) goes up to the 2nd floor which leads to a beautiful bathroom with large shower cubicle, a sink and toilet, all closed by a sliding door.

Then a very steep wrought iron staircase leads up to an elegant bedroom with a double bed under the roof of the mill with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.

We provide toilet paper, hand soap, washing-up and sponge liquid, hydroalcoholic gel.

Outside, you will have a barbecue, garden table and chairs, as well as deckchairs and outdoor games (moolky, beachball, bowls .. ) to make the most of this pretty corner of paradise. A protected area for bicycles has been created (possibility to rent bicycles in Mervent)

NB: CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD ARE NOT ALLOWED at the mill due to the non-existence of crash barriers on the external stairs. The internal stairs are not a playground because they are very steep.
Children are therefore under the responsibility of their parents. We do not accept any responsibility. Thank you for your understanding.
