Thanks so much, Greg! Hope y’all will stay with me again soon! Remember I have three properties, for almost any size group or occasion. Call me! Cheers.⚓️
We had a wonderful time at this property. The cabin was very clean and located at the entrance to J.P. Coleman state park. The drive way was perfect for our boat . This cabin is pet friendly and does not smell like pets have stayed there ! We loved it and will be back .

Thanks so very much; very glad you enjoyed it and look forward to you returning very soon!
Everything was exactly as listed! We loved the back porch. The kids were able to roast marshmallows both nights, play games & sit around & eat. We grilled & sat out on the back porch watching the game after a long day on the water. The cottage is exactly how it looks in the pictures. We enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for the kind review! So glad you enjoyed it and again, thanks for letting me know about the warmness!
This cabin is just what you need for a fun weekend trip! The back area with fire pit, deck, tv was so nice. And pretty decorative lights everywhere for a nice touch!
Air conditioners kept it super cool and comfortable in the house.
Communication was great with the owner. 😊

Thanks so much, Angela! It warms my heart that y’all enjoyed the cottage, that is my goal! Sure hope you’ll stay with us again soon!⚓️
My husband and I stayed for our 5 year anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Anissa was so accommodating. The cottage is less than 5 minutes from the boat ramp and there was plenty of space in the driveway to park and turn around our boat. We didn’t most of our time by the fire pit, it was fantastic. Would love to stay there again.

Jason, I am very sorry you were unhappy. Per your request, I gave you an early check in, and you still arrived an hour earlier and we were not ready. You were disrespectful to my housekeeper and made her very uncomfortable. I asked you to leave and come back and you refused. And you had more than the maximum number of guests, and left the home very messy as well as there was apparent damage to my supply closet. I wish you well in your future adventures but I agree, my properties are not for you and your family. Safe travels.
Cold front came through and Residence does not have adequate heating. One portable stand up heater in each bedroom and Heatpump Mini Split in Living/Kitchen area that doesn’t offer Aux Heat nor designed to heat that size home at temps in the 20’s. Bathroom was so cold I left without a shower. Location to State park was excellent

I wish you had contacted me at the number I gave you regarding the heat. It does work extremely well, so perhaps it was not on the appropriate setting. I have never had a complaint about inadequate heat, not even in the middle of winter. I very much regret you had that experience.
Mobile home with cottage shell and nice deck in rear
Mobile home (singlewide) with a nice cottage shell with metal roof. Outside deck is nice. Close to JP Coleman boat launch. Good water pressure. No common area for 6 people inside to socialize or eat. 2 queen beds, 1 couch and a small chair in den. Can sleep 2 in a bed and <5 foot person on couch. Comfortably sleeps 4 with 2 to a bed; maybe 5 depending on size. Mattresses could be updated. Has a window unit for AC which does well if you keep all the doors open to the bathroom and bedrooms. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Room for 2 20ft boats and vehicles. Water hose and electrical hookup outside is convenient. Host was very attentive. She asked how we were doing and quickly replied to my question about outside trash can.

Thank you so much for your thorough review! Yes, our Cottage is very comfortable for 4 persons. We are adding an additional chair in the common room this week, so there will be seating for 5 plus two bar stools. I appreciate all of your comments and will keep in mind as we continually work towards making our Cottage at JP Coleman the perfect weekend get-a-way and/or vacation home.
We first thought the place was going to be great. We checked the grill before going to the store and it was covered in mold. We decided to do hot dogs over the fire instead and said oh well, this aint going to ruin our trip. We went fishing that night had a blast came back around 2 in the morning and as the kids were passing out the blankets my husband had left on the futon before he had fallen a sleep, they noticed something moving on the bed. Turned on the light and it was a bed bug. Upon looking around there was more scattering into the sewing on the futon. We immediately called at almost 3 in the morning and got them a hotel room. I messaged the owner and she started makimg accusations about how that hasnt been there and i left one for her on a napkin in the kitchen. She said she'd have to inspect it and if it was found true she would refund one day of our stay as we werent staying another night. After her "inspection" she said nothing was found and would give me $20 for the moldy grill. She said if i only wanted to stay one night i didnt have to make believe there was bugs. I bawled my eyes out on sunday when we came home as it was to celebrate my soldier coming home and all our plans were destroyed. The owner didnt care. She basically called me a liar and scammer. Extremely disappointed!

Cherinda, my goal as a host, as you can tell from my numerous 5 start review at all of my properties, is for my guests to always have the most special, wonderful time while at my vacation homes and create perfect memories with their friends and family. I wished the same for you and your family.
However, when you reserved your stay, I immediately tried to reach out to you to let you know that you booked the cottage for 6 adults and it is a 4 adult absolute max with 2 small children. After many hours of trying and finally texting you on your cell phone outside the app, you changed and said 5 adults and 1 child. I said that would still be too many, no beds, and you said you would bring an air mattress and I told you it would not fit anywhere after you put out the futon and OFFERED to move you to one of my larger properties. You refused. My first mistake, I said 'ok' when you said you would make it work.
Addressing the grill...yes, thank you for bringing to my attention that a previous guest had left food residue on the grill and it was yucky. It took my 10 seconds to rinse the grate off, and another 10 seconds to wipe it with a disinfecting wipe. 20 seconds and your burgers could have been grilling. 20 seconds. And moreover, you did not call me and advise me of the concern as I could have corrected the issue for you then but you did not, as I told you, giving you my cell number, let me know of the issue.
Cars came and left the property all day and evening. That is fine. But the car the checked in on Saturday afternoon never left...it remained in the driveway until late in the day on Sunday.
Your family never left the property. Both bedroom were used and someone stayed at the property, multiple cars, the entire time.
I have never, ever had bed bug problems. Being in the industry I'm obviously concerned and constantly aware. With all due diligence, I had someone else accompany me when I went to inspect the futon you claimed they were '"crawling' out of"...opening the futon up, I took multiple high power lights and inspected multiple samples of the stuffing. No bugs. None. The stuffing is raw cotton, not washed, straight from a field with the cotton boll pieces, with a very clean foam middle piece for support.
You threatened me twice, once on the app and once in a private text that I asked you to put in the app and you refused to do so, that if I didn't give you a refund you would give me a bad review. No ma'am, I am not giving in to that. If there had been a problem, I would happily make it right. I always do. This is becoming an epidemic in this industry and we the host must stand together and put a stop to it and I pray the platforms will help us. I did not/do not owe you a refund because there were NO bed bugs, no problems, no issues. I'm sure your grown children did not want to sleep on the floor and as I told you before hand, with the futon out there is no room for an air mattress. I made every attempt to accommodate your group before your arrival and you insisted on staying at this property. Perhaps you only wanted the property for the Saturday night party...if you had reached out to me I would have worked with you on that, before hand. Perhaps you realized there was not enough room; I made you aware of that before your stay - your choice to to keep the reservation.
Either way, I never called you a liar. But insisting their were bed bugs is a lie.
I wish you well in your future travels.
Sincerely,
Anissa - Premier/Superhost for over 3 years
Very clean and organized. Had to contact the owner about the air no working properly but she got someone out very quickly. We really enjoyed having a nice clean place to stay with all of the comforts of home. The outdoor space is amazing as well. Owner stayed in touch with us on all accounts. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at this property. Very close to JP Coleman state park. The back deck area is great. Plenty of amenities in the cottage. Owner was great and easy to communicate with. She took care of all our needs and concerns quickly and even checked in on us to make sure things were going well. The fans provided helped greatly with the warm temperatures during the weekend we stayed. Great property!

We have never been to Mississippi and it was worth the 12 hour drive. People very down to earth and friendly. Perfect place if you have a boat to explore Lake Pickwick. We visited Tishomingo State Park 3 times. Great hiking trails

Place was very clean and accommodating. Host was very responsive and friendly. Storms before the trip caused TVs and Air condition to be out but host provided room ac for living room and plenty of fans and because of the Holiday weekend it was impossible to get repairs to the unit but we were not too uncomfortable. We didn’t need the TVs as we didn’t spend much time there so overall good experience. Would have been nice to receive a bit of a discounted rate but can’t complain. Would stay again if in the area
