Great place for the price
The fridge would run really loud with a clanking noise quite often so that was kind of annoying. The walls are thin as one person mentioned in a review but we really weren't at the place besides the morning and night and above neighbors weren't rowdy so it was ok to deal with.

zero rating for VACASA
I am writing to tell you how disappointed I am with Vacasa rental services. Our group has been going out to Ski Resorts for over 30 years. We have gone to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park and Aspen in Colorado. We have gone to Jackson Hole in Wyoming and Lake Tahoe in California and have never had a worse experience with a rental agency. We had a group of 9 people attending the annual Firefighter Ski Races in Steamboat Springs the week of February 26 to March 5, 2022 most of our group are retired and some of them are in the 70’s and late 60’s. We were looking forward to be able to walk to the slopes and to the base of the mountain without waiting for shuttles. The Firefighter Ski Races have hundreds of Firefighters from across the country attend this event. I reserved and sent a deposit of $3,567.75 ( which is 50 percent ) for the Torian Plum Creekside Apt. 412 on July 10, 2021 for our reservation on February 26 to March 5 2022 plenty of time for the owner to know the property was booked. We chose this property for the convenience of being slope side and the ability to walk to the base of the mountain, since we have members who are older retires traveling with us. On Wednesday December 29, 2021 I received this message “ Hi Michael, Vacasa has an urgent message about your upcoming Vacasa Reservation in Steamboat Springs. The home that you have rented , Torian Plum Creekside 412 will not be available and we need to address this immediately. Please check your E-Mail and respond as soon as possible- (855)533-4954 & mention reservation # 5122478 “ When I called I was told that owner would be using the house that week and we would have to change our reservations, this practice is unheard of. As I said before we been renting property at Ski resorts for over 30 years and never had this problem. Though the representative was apologetic, due to the late date there were no decent accommodations available. It was too late to cancel as everyone had taken vacation time and booked their flights. We were forced to take ( 2 ) units to accommodate our group. The houses were a distance apart from each other, which forced us to walk up and down the hill to see each other and far from the slopes that we needed to shuttle all the time. The accommodations where shoddy and did not sleep the amount of people we were told it could hold causing people to have to sleep on the floor. The Yampa View house was a 2 bedroom with a couch that’s sleeps 6, the couch does not open up to a bed, it’s just a couch. We had no access to the hot tub and when we had an issue and called your company we were told someone would be right over ( no one ever came ). The actual agency handling these units said they could not help because that did not service the Daybreak property. I assume your contract with the property owner forbids them from canceling a reservation and if they do, there would be some penalty. If not there should be as many other agencies don’t allow this to happen. When the owner does this it is your reputation that gets damaged. We made sure that all the 100 plus firefighters and their family and friends are aware of our story and asked them to notify their friends and family to think twice before recommending your services. Sincerely, _____________________________________ Jersey City Battalion Chief Michael Nickerson

Nice environment, a little noisy
It is a beautiful setting with amazing views. Inside, the condo is very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable, there is plenty of room in the dining area, and checking in and out was fairly simple. The things to be aware of are: 1. The walls/ceiling are very thin. You can literally hear everything going on above you. You can hear every step someone takes. And if you have upstairs neighbors who are a little more on the noisy side it can be a difficult experience, which it was for me and my son. We heard everything going on. It was hard to sleep at night. We contacted the office multiple times but there was nothing they could do. They said they'd pit a note on their door but nothing changed. Very surprised the walls are so thin--seems cheaply made. 2. Very little supplies inside. There are some soap and shampoo samples, salt and pepper, but that's it. I've stayed in VRBO and Air BNB places several times and never saw a place so bare. I understand renters need to bring their own supplies, and we do, but this was very surprising. I would stay here again only if I was in the top floor.
