A peaceful getaway between the Chartreuse and Vercors mountains…

Welcome to Le Clos d’Olon, a fully independent 50 m² holiday cottage rated 4★, set in the former smokehouse of a beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and stunning mountain views, just 10 minutes from Voiron and 25 minutes from Grenoble.

From May to September, relax by the swimming pool or enjoy a game of pétanque. An ideal place for a romantic getaway, a family stay, or a base from which to explore the region.

The accommodation

Comfortable and welcoming, the cottage sleeps up to 4 guests and includes:

• a sleeping area with a 140 x 190 cm double bed
• a living area with a 140 x 190 cm sofa bed
• a fully equipped kitchen
• a dining area
• a bathroom with a walk-in shower
• high-speed Wi-Fi

Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.

Outside, you can enjoy your own private terrace with mountain views, as well as access to the 2,400 m² landscaped garden – the perfect place to unwind and make the most of sunny days.

From May to September, you also have access to the swimming pool.

A pétanque court is available on the property.

You can park your car directly in the courtyard. The property is secured by an electric gate with a keypad, allowing you to come and go independently.

Pretty rural setting

Very comfortable gite with shared garden & outdoor pool. Host was extremely helpful in providing us with relevant local information & directions. Would certainly recommend for anyone who would prefer quiet environment that is not too far from a city (Grenoble).

De l'arrivée en autonomie, dans un logement chauffé (température adéquate) au calme de celui-ci en passant par la proximité des voies de circulation. Tout s'est très bien passé.

Enjoyable stay

We had a great week here. The gite was as described and well equipped for catering in. There was a good supply of basics like tea, coffee, oil and herbs as well as kitchen essentials like washing up liquid and bin bags, which is very helpful when you’re only there for a week. We really enjoyed our meals on the terrace with a great view of the mountains. The pool is big and very clean which was great for a cool off on the hotter days. There’s no air con but it was possible to get a breeze through and there was large fan which was welcome on the hot nights. There’s an iPad provided too which was a nice touch and something I’ve not seen anywhere else. The area the gite is situated in is very nice and gives easy road access to explore the local area. Recommended.

Super ! Un très bon séjour !

Très bel appartement joliment décoré - tout a été pensé avec goût - la piscine a été fort appréciée ! J’ai aimé aussi le panier bienvenue, les produits de toilette, la collection de thés... on se sent vraiment attendus et on se sent bien « chez soi ». Merci à Barbara et Gilles (et aux garçons) pour leur gentillesse... et leurs sourires ! À une prochaine fois ! Michèle
