The property was clean and meticulously maintained. When it snowed, the service was there to shovel before we got out of bed. It's a quirky house, thanks to the age, but it's so cozy. And you cannot beat the location. We enjoyed it so much!
We had a wonderful stay and the location was perfect! This was our first time in Mystic, CT and we will definitely be back. The walk to the shops area was less than 3 minutes. The Captain's House is charming and has a lot of history. Our arrival instructions were spot on and very easy. Gerard is a wonderful host and very responsive to all our needs. The house has all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay!

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. You are always welcome!
It was absolutely beautiful. Cozy and the location was out of this world. Being able to just walk to the shops and restaurants was wonderful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Incredible in every way. Ideal location, beautiful view and the perfect combination of historic charm and modern convenience. Gerard was available though we never needed a thing. The early check-in and late check-out gave us lots of time for strolling the waterfront and shops. We absolutely hope to be back!
Great family home! Fully stocked and easy to stay in. Loved watching the drawbridge from the window. Close to everything and everywhere. Terrific management team! Can't wait to go back!
We had an excellent stay at the Captain’s House. It was comfortable, well-appointed and exceptionally clean. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoyed our view of the Mystic River. It was great to walk easily to nearby restaurants and cafes. Gerard was an attentive and helpful hist. I highly recommend!
We love staying here and have already booked it for next year. We are a five minute walk to restaurants and ice cream … critical when the temperature was in the 90’s! The house itself stayed cool and comfortable. Favorite food sites:S&P Oyster Bar Sift bakeryMix … upstairs from SiftDog Watch Cafe in Stonington

Excellent house , close to all the things we wanted to do
The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring the town and walking to most places. There were toys for our child to play with and even books for her to read! The proximity to all the restaurants was our favorite part!
This house is lovely, with a beautiful well appointed kitchen and amazing historical charm. It had everything we needed for our stay and the location could not be better. We will definitely be returning!
Very enjoyable family Christmas at Captain’s house in Mystic
This property made it easy for us to enjoy our time at Christmas - as family traveling from 3-5 hours away to be together. The location is great and the design and style of the home was a good fit for us, and was very accommodating. We look forward to staying again.
I wish I could have stayed longer. Just in town for business and found this charming and comfortable seaside home. Everything I needed and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Lovely first floor queen bedroom with attached full bath. This is a water view, historic home with New England charm. I hope to return some day!
Fantastic location to the shops and restaurants of Mystic. Home is spacious and well appointed, not to mention charming old New England feel. Owner went out of his way to make sure we checked in and had no problems.
