We came into town from Oklahoma for a wedding out at Rock Creek. We loved the cabin and location! Breakfast with the bighorn sheep was really neat! 1st time in Montana and we will definitely be back again.
I have stayed in Deb and Joe's cabins (Trout Bums) many times. They are all wonderful places and Deb and Joe are wonderful hosts. This cabin has everything you need, including a small but efficient kitchen for cooking meals and the added bonus of seeing mountain goats off the back deck while enjoying a cup of coffee. I highly recommend all of Trout Bum's cabins!

Thank you for your kind words Jeremie. We enjoyed visiting with you, and look forward t seeing you again soon.
This property is immaculate and provided a much-needed rest break from work and stress. All the amenities are superb - deck on the back to watch the bighorn sheep lambs play, grill for salmon, fire ring to sit around at night. The inside has everything you need and is very cozy for making meals, reading, playing cribbage, even doing a load of laundry. Deb and the team have paid attention to every detail to make this a very special place. I loved the location with trailheads nearby for hiking and Rock Creek for fishing, and also as it's far enough outside of Missoula that there is no temptation to take a spin into town for anything. Just be here.
Husband and I had a party to attend in a neighboring town, but do not really like stsy in town, to congested for us. We just happened to see this cabin and thought, ' Let's try it'. So happy we did. It was out of town and hidden. Butts up to the mountain base and was temperature cool. (I hate heat). We turn up the fans, opens the windows and let nature in. Ate on the deck and just breathed. Hated having to go to the party. (Haha).
The only thing that kinda gave me the willies, was the front door faces the other cabin and their is not a window covering on the window of the door. I kept thinking they were being nosy and looking at me. (But, I am also the crazy person who listens to those murder podcasts 😆).
Thanks to all.
A must!
