Our host Eric was so helpful and kind! We love how he has remodeled his townhouse. Many great touches and using all the space wisely. Our party of 4 were very comfortable. We Love St. Emilion and this home is in a great location.
The home was excellent, centrally located and very comfortable. We appreciated the extra small touches of bath products, water etc. We left with great memories of St. Emilion. Thank you for being a part of that.
Fantastic. Property could not be any better with fantastic surprise underneath. Eric was very helpful with check in, information etc. Cannot recommend enough
This place was amazing!!! Very spacious and perfect for our family of 4. Eric was an amazing host. He is so very proud of this home (as he should be), that he recently renovated. It is the perfect location. An easy walk to everywhere in the village. Eric was helpful with making recommendations for chateaus and restaurants. He also helped us with arranging a taxi to Bordeaux. We are hope we’re lucky enough to make our way back here, but until then, we will definitely recommend friends to this home.
Eric met us at the property and we were given an interesting tour. The home has been lovingly renovated so the character of the old is blended with the modern conveniences. There are 3 floors so there is plenty of privacy if you are traveling with friends. We did not have a car but the market and the butcher are very close by. There is no laundry services in the town. The town is charming! We stayed four nights. The beds are extremely comfortable! Perfect vacation home and Eric is charming.
The answer is no. We were worried that we would be bored being in the same location for so many days, but in the end we wished we were staying longer.
Erics apartment is perfect location for exploring this historic village. The house has almost everything you need for a home base for your daily adventures. Eric was a perfect host, spending time with us during check in even after we were an hour late due to our plane delay. Eric also checked in with us during our stay via text to make sure we had everything we needed.
We ate breakfast in the apartment that consisted of baguette, tomato, cheese that we purchased at the nearby market with coffee, and the wonderful Apricot preserves that our host supplied.
I sure hope we make it back to St-Emilion some day. The food, the wine tastings and just walking and exploring the village was amazing.
Thank you Eric for sharing your Treasure's with us! I look forward to reminiscing about this trip for the rest of our lives.
PROS: Wine, food, history, exploring and adventures outside the door. Tuk Tuk Tours! Comfortable beds. Ensuite baths for both rooms. Just enough kitchen to make light meal.
CONS: Not recommended for children. Lack of washing machine.
Great location, immaculately clean, very comfortable, with Éric, a charming, warm, helpful host. Can’t ask for better to see (and stay in) the wonderful medieval village of St. Emillion
