About this property
Family Friendly Loft Apartment with Ocean views
Once home to the Order of the Oddfellows in the late 1800's this recently renovated luxurious loft apartment over looks Center Harbor in the quaint town of Brooklin. The large room measures 40’ by 50’ with 11’ ceilings and is an extraordinary family retreat. The dining table seats 16, and a kitchen is full stocked with a vintage gas stove. Huge restored double hung windows afford views of the Reach and surroundings landscape. You are a five minute walk from the coast of Maine. Come visit!
There are two bedrooms, one a with a King and the other a Queen. Both bedrooms share a wood paneled bath with generous shower. There are two Queen Murphy Beds in the large living area that are easily accessible and very comfortable.
The kitchen extends the length of one wall with custom wood cabinets with Deer Isle granite counters and a large farm sink. There is an extensive collection of dinnerware, glassware, and flatware and plenty of cookware and utensils to prepare a feast. In the back yard there is a picnic table and gas grill for outdoor dining.
The living area has everything you need to have an unforgettable family vacation. The Ping pong table, air hockey, basketball, family games and puzzles will keep your kids busy enough, they may not even notice the 82” TV.
Plenty of off street parking in the buildings parking
Things to note: Because this building is over 100 years old and has an open floor plan, it is not sound proof. Guests may hear noise from the small boat yard bellow or guests renting above between normal daylight hours. We work hard as a building owners to keep sound to a minimum. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask!
