Tidal Destination is the perfect getaway with natural light, soft tones, clean aesthetic that evokes the breeziness of the beach. This playful and relaxed home sleeps up to 8, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and plenty of space to put your feet up and unwind! Celebrate all of the natural light that this home has to offer in the open concept living/dining area with the vaulted ceiling, open loft, and wonderful ocean views from both floors. Curl up with a good book or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings in front of the gas fireplace during a winter storm or quiet evening. Tidal Destination has a master bedroom with a king bed on the main floor with a bath across the hall. Upstairs in the open loft are two more bedrooms with colorful barn doors and a shared bath between. Slide open the barn doors to enjoy ocean views from bed or close them off for privacy. The loft also boasts stunning ocean views with two separate sitting areas along with a shuffleboard game for a little added fun!

The back deck stretches across the house for you to enjoy sweeping ocean views and sunsets year-round. Relax in the ocean view hot tub after a day of exploring the miles of sandy beach or the many forest trails that the Oregon Coast has to offer! There is a nice fenced front yard to romp, play and enjoy the fresh air! The path to the beach is right next to the house, which gives you easy access to the sand, surf and shell and agate collecting.

The location was amazing. The weather was perfect. The house was fine. It had many positives, however there was cobwebs everywhere, floor tiles coming up in kitchen (serious tripping hazard) and the master bed mattress is very old and uncomfortable.

The home was beautiful! Just enough space to relax and not feel too crowded with the 3 adults and 3 dogs we had there. The shuffleboard and hot tub were fun additions! They had all the amenities needed for meal making and enjoying puzzling and gaming on the more rainy days. Great location to Yachats and Waldport for other activities! Our only suggestions would be to be aware the beach entry can be a bit iffy for more aged or non-rock traversing types in the group. But all in all would definitely stay again! The dogs loved having a fenced yard space to run and play when not on the beach.

Tidal Destination is a gorgeous property with stunning views and owners who have clearly put great love into their home. Sadly, our two-week stay in Feb. and March— planned as a celebration of a 78th birthday—was significantly undermined by Sweet Homes' mismanagement.We arrived to a freezing house with a broken heat pump. Over the first two days we made 16 calls to Sweet Homes, most of which went unanswered for hours. VRBO ultimately had to intervene. Both suggested moving us to another property. Sweet Homes offered one nearby the first night, but we were exhausted from a very long drive and the whole unpacking process. And we had chosen this property specifically for its fenced yard for our two small dogs; alternate properties couldn't match that. Space heaters helped, together with the gas fireplace and baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and baths, but it was still drafty. A technician eventually came, but even with express-shipped parts the heat pump was never repaired. We went the entire two weeks without it.Additional issues included a broken ice maker, missing fireplace remote, non-working DVD players, and a home that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned—dusty surfaces, cobwebs inside/outside, & dirty windows that obscured the views when sunlight broke through.We also wish Sweet Homes had warned us about the hazardous beach access, particularly since they knew our ages.We lost at least three days of our vacation to these problems. The owners deserve far better management.

This house has everything!

Perfect getaway for our family! We were blown away by how well-appointed the house is - the kitchen is the best stocked vacation rental I've ever seen. Comfy beds and hang out spaces, great views, easy beach access, and a short drive to Yachats and Newport for provisions and adventures. I definitely recommend it!

Amazing Beach Access and Views for Family

We had an amazing stay with our two kids (ages 5 and 7) along with my father. The views of the beach were amazing. The access to the beach was immediately outside the house, although my father had to be very careful while walking down it due to slipping potential. The house itself was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub during beach sunsets. The kitchen had a lot of good condition utensils and cookware. Would definitely stay here again!

What a gem!

We loved this property. The path to the beach is right outside your door, there are loads of beach toys for the kids, thoughtful touches abound, and sitting in a chair upstairs looking out at the ocean is truly a delight. We can’t wait to return.

Charming House in a Beautiful Location

We had a great time listening to the waves and watching the sunset from one of the many comfy locations within the house. The placement of the hot tub couldn't be better. Definitely recommend this house for people looking to relax, unwind and enjoy the beach/ocean.

Great Family Place

We enjoyed this perfect beach house that had something for everyone, pleasing all 3 generations. We have always stayed close to town where there are dramatic waves hitting the rocks. Perfect!! The most comfortable beds I’ve ever had on vacation. The best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen! They had everything you could ever hope for. It didn’t feel like a rental, it get like your super classy grandparents let you borrow their house while they were away. The quality was top notch.

Yachats Gem

First of all, this was the most well-appointed vacation rental I've ever stayed in! They had games, puzzles, books, movies, kitchen utensils, dishes, and appliances galore! The location was GREAT! Access to a relatively private beach right beside the house, and outstanding views from the entire backside of the property. It was perfect for our family of 6 and 3 dogs! A couple of things I wish I had known sooner: 1). Renting through VRBO (as opposed to through Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways directly) tacks on extra fees, so it was more expensive than we initially thought it was going to be, and that wasn't entirely clear up front. 2). They sent us a message that the house was ready at 3:15 pm, but my access code didn't work until 5 (so trying to get in initially was a little confusing/stressful). Other than that, I highly recommend staying here! The hosts were super attentive, and we had a delightful time. Would definitely come again.

Relaxation with a view

This was an amazing house. It was warm and welcoming and had everything you need to make yourself feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools, dishes, pots and pans you need to make any sort of meal. The view was amazing. It made the one stormy day enjoyable! We could stay warm and dry but still enjoy the beach! We are already talking about out next trip and coming back to this house! It was great and highly recommend.

Beach get away!

This beach house was a great stay. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and the dogs. Location is right on the beach with a great view of the water. House was very clean and had the essentials. We did a lot of cooking over the weekend and the kitchen had every thing needed to prepare fantastic meals. The only surprise we encounter was the beach access was a few steps down a ravine and could be a little tricky to navigate when wet. The beach was great to let the doggos run and play. Plenty of space on the beach with few people. We also greatly enjoyed the shuffle board. Overall the house and property were great and we had a fantastic time! We will definitely be looking to book this location again!
