On the first night we had about 20 baby spiders coming out of the shower walls. A chair that our mom sat in completely dropped to the ground in half. Every piece of patio furniture made of metal is rusted through and a danger. Quiet time starts at 9pm and the hot tub cant be used after that. The lights outside the hot tub caught fire. Wasn't worth the price at all.

Very spacious home and dog friendly! There’s even a dog shower in the garage which we used as our pup loves chasing waves and rolling in the sand!Easy trail down to the beach as well. A mile or so from Seal Rock which has great tide pool viewing of sea creatures at low tide. Just south of Newport so easy to go into town for the day. Highly recommend!

Family stay

It was good, the hot tub wasn't working, one of the mainreason we picked this location.

Hi Sally! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, but we are sorry the hot tub was not working. While we do our best to ensure all amenities are in working order, occasional maintenance issues can arise We understand your disappointment — especially since it was a key reason for booking and confirmed that no hot tub fee was charged. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to provide you with a smoother, more enjoyable experience in the future.

When we arrived the door code wasn't correct. Two back doors had been left unlocked by a previous tenant or cleaning person which enabled us to get in to access wi-fi and cell services to report the issue. Then, I discovered three piles of dog feces on the deck, which I had to clean. And, last, the dishwasher didn't function properly; therefore, we washed all of our dishes by hand. The home was lovely, comfortable, and well furnished despite the issues. We did enjoy our stay.

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. I'm sorry that you arrived to a home that wasn't entirely secured by our inspector, that was a significant oversight that we have since corrected with them. The same goes for the waste in the yard and dishwasher, we spoke with our inspection team about these missed marks and they have been retrained on our thorough checklist. And our maintenance team has since serviced the electronic lock as well, and it is working as it should. Despite your concerns, I'm glad to hear you found the home lovely and comfortable. If there’s anything else we could have done to earn five stars, please message us through the Vrbo app; we’d really appreciate the feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon!
