Fully equipped, with parquet floors. The accommodation includes a large living room, with sofa bed, TV DVD player, stereo, a living area with table for 4 people, library; a fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher), a bedroom with king size bed (160x200), and its shower room. On arrival the beds are made, linen and towels available.
To park, Bayeux is a safe city where you will find many public parking spaces (free or paid). There are places in the street in front of the building but Place de Gaulle, there are many free places, and it is 50 meters away.

The location was very close to the main shopping/eating area but far enough away to be very quiet at night. Close to the beautiful cathedral. The apartment is cozy and worked for what we needed. The host’s directions were very well laid out and easy to follow.Located about 15 minute easy walk from the train station. We had a great stay.

Nice Little Apartment - Well Located

This was a very nice little apartment, ideal for a couple or small family. Very well located less than one block from Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayeux. Also plenty of free parking all around Pl. Charles de Gaulle, approximately 50 meters away.

Great place

Very sweet property, close to everything. Shower nice and hot. Mathieu went above and beyond to check for a possibly lost passport for me. Other than a bit of a noisy fridge, the kitchen has everything you need.

Bayeux visit from california

Great location, we stayed during off season so day and over night parking was no issue. Close to everything via walking. List of restaurants would be nice as walk ins without reservations are difficult. Hope to return.

Mathieu was an excellent host! The flat was exactly as listed. It was quaint and absolutely full of the French historic charm we hoped to find for our stay in Bayeux. I had no issues with our stay because we inquired as to specifics beforehand and had reviewed all photos provided. The location was more than we could have hoped for - we had views of the Bayeux Notre Dame Cathedral from our flat and the walk to the high street was mere minutes. Bayeux is an excellent starting place for travel to all Normandy historic sites, but to come back to Jeanne, our flat, was truly heaven. We felt privileged. Thank you, Mathieu!

Perfectly central

The apartment is beautifully centrally located. The bed has a great mattress, we slept wonderfully. Bathroom and kitchen are fine, the bakery down the road has delicious croissants and the liquor store has very good calvados, get the 12 years old one, it's worth the money. This apartment is the perfect location to explore Bayeux itself and the surrounding area. We traveled by train and bus, which went well. Leaflets with bus schedules were on the narrow table.

Superb Bayeux Location

Everything about my stay in "Jeanne" was wonderful. The rooms are so bright and sunny, and nicely decorated. Everything needed for comfort and convenience is provided- from linens and towels to a well-appointed kitchen. The location is perfect. I could easily walk to everything I wanted to see in Bayeux- the Cathedral, the museums, restaurants, cafés, parks- as well as to local markets, bakeries, wine shops and more. If you rent a car, there is plenty of street parking. The beautiful cathedral is steps away, and I was charmed daily by the cathedral bells. The host, Mathieu made my stay extra-special. He was there when I arrived to greet me, and helped with luggage. He oriented me to the apartment, and made sure I had everything I needed to feel welcome and comfortable. I was in Bayeux for 2 weeks, so had time to meet his lovely family, and was invited to his home for a traditional French apéritif. I've stayed in rentals several times before, but I can honestly say this is the first time "I arrived as a stranger- left as a friend." If you rent "Jeanne," you will not be disappointed.

Entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und sind rundum zufrieden. Die Wohnung liegt in der Innenstadt, aber nachts war es dort total ruhig. Wir konnten bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr gut schlafen.Wir hatten einen unproblematischen und schnellen Kontakt zum Vermieter, wie es nicht besser hätte laufen können.Wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden, unsere Fahrräder mitzunehmen. Das war kein Problem, da wir sie einfach im Flur unterstellen konnten. Dafür möchten wir uns nochmal bedanken.Unser Dackel war vom nahegelegenen Park sehr angetan.

L’appartamento, molto bello e spazioso si affaccia sulla cattedrale di Notre Dame La posizione e’ incantevole e poter vedere la cattedrale al tramonto e’ sbalorditivo!! Dista 50 metri da place de Gaulle dove poter portare la nostra cagnolina per una passeggiata e altrettanti dal centro di Bayeux. Unica mancanza I parapetti alle finestre che possono essere pericolosi per piccoli cani e bambini e la mancata comunicazione nell’annuncio che l’appartamento si trova al secondo piano senza ascensore. Il giudizio finale e’ comunque ottimo!!
