Be aware there is NO AC at this property. Be cautious when renting in the summer months.
Unfortunately this home is not in the expected condition based on the VRBO listing. This home has previously been smoked in, there were living and dead bugs throughout the interior and exterior of the home. Large spider webs were everywhere. They said they get pest control and a groundskeeper but that is not evident based on the condition of the home. There was hair on bathroom floors and in the tub from previous guests. The backyard and front yard has no grass as pictured in the photos online. there is no hammock as pictured or described. The green cabinet stocked with all the essentials doesn't have any of that stuff that you can see in the photos online. It was not explicitly stated that there is NO AC so at night it was 85 degrees inside the home. None of us could sleep, it was awful. This a very old home, and seems to be a in a rough area of town. Walking distance from this there were so many homeless people. After the first night we opted to find a hotel. I asked for a refund and they agreed to pay me back for the days I did not stay there, but not for the day I did. They were kind but not very responsive (It took days to get a hold of them). I just wished I had known more of the details of the home upon booking. I also would have expected a home being offered through VRBO to have been managed better. There is a separate management company that takes care of the home. I tried posting photos but VRBO doesn't allow photos as part of reviews, which I think is odd.
