The property is in the heart of Lincoln Park, just off of Clark and Diversey. We stayed for about 7 weeks while looking for a permanent home. Lots of restaurants and shopping. The lake is just over a half mile away... an easy walk down Diversey.
Great location, close to the stores, restaurants, and a short walk to train station. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was good and responsive.
Very nice apartment at the border of Lincoln Park and Lakeview. Very convenient location (grocery stores, public transportation, restaurants, movie theater, etc.)
The garage is a definite plus.
We stayed here for a month and loved the area and walkable location. Literally a block from target and Walmart along with countless restaurants. The brown/purple line is like 5 blocks away and one stop from the Red.
The negative: the floors were dirty and my wife (who is a saint) ended up sweeping and mopping them. Also there were dust cobwebs in the corners of every room.
I have no doubt that this'll be remedied
Overall great stay and I'd book again.

Marcus locked himself out and we had to send someone out to open the door for him. This had never happened to anyone else. If he had told us about dust on the floors, we would have sent in our housekeeping staff. Unfortunately, we never heard from him. This is the first complaint we have ever received about our staff. I am glad he would book again.
The property managers for this property were fantastic! We had a couple issues and they took care of them promptly. I would not rent this property in the winter because I don’t think there is any insulation. There was a constant breeze (inside) and we had a very cold spell. It would be a great place in the other seasons if they put a screen door at the front door. The garage in the alley was a life saver but it’s Chicago so you need to get used to seeing rats. I had to buy blackout curtains for the bedrooms because of street lights. The couch is terrible!!!! Other bedding and kitchen items were all high end. Best shower ever! I did feel safe there.
This property would be great if you were only staying for a short time and not using the kitchen to cook. Our stay was for about 2 months. In that time frame, the garbage disposal didn’t work, therefore the sink smelled extremely bad. The oven quit working and at one point the apartment filled with the smell of gas. Rats, yes RATS invaded and climbed on the kitchen counters looking for food. The freezer quit working and all of our food was spoiled. And lastly, the furnace went out in below freezing temps. When I tried to get it running again on my own, I removed the filter and gasped at what I saw. I’m pretty sure it hadn’t been changed for several years. They were responsive to all these issues, usually within 24 hours. But just the fact that there were so many of them, it became very uncomfortable. If just a little more maintenance on this property were done to it, it would be ideal with the attached garage, spacious living area and location. It’s too bad that isn't the case.
Host was very responsive when issues occurred throughout stay
Great location, surprisingly quiet for city living, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Rented for a month on a work assignment. Host was very responsive when the drain clogged and dishwasher broke. Also remedied the cleanliness issue we had when we first arrived!
This location was convenient for shopping and restaurants (take out) during COVID and was close to family. Having a garage was a big plus! The property was somewhat dated and could use a bathroom update.
