Maison agréable et spatieuse dans un cadre tranquille !

Largement de la place et ambiance agréable avec des niveaux et des points de vues variés, qui ont bien plu aux enfants, et cour arrière peinarde qui a fait l'affaire des parents ! Literie excellente, un bémol pour le frigo qui ne ferme pas et l'absence du micro-onde s'est fait sentir. Village sympathique et actif, et une mention spéciale pour la coopérative viticole et son gérant ! On est - pour les géologues et les botanistes - à la limite entre le calcaire et le cristallophyllien, et de formidables balades éducatives à faire, y compris les châteaux tout proches. La mer n'est pas si loin pour ceux qui aiment rôtir sur le sable au soleil (pas nous...). A noter encore la confiance avec laquelle nous avons échangé avec la propriétaire. Séjour très profitable pour toutes et tous.

Perfect stay in the lovely and sunny south France

We had a lovely stay in Embres-et-Castelmaure. This small and quiet town has a fantastic winery (Castelmaure) which we visited and enjoyed during a wine tasting and also having dinner at its own restaurant. The area is full of other wineries, so it is a great destination for wine lovers. We were lucky to be part of the local sardinade, where around 300 people from town and around joined together to have a lovely dinner (ham and melon, sausages, sardins, ice cream, local wine). In mid-july there are plenty of small towns and villages celebrating local fétes, markets and vide-greniers. Moreover, the beach (Leucate) is 35 minutes by car (not too far away, but the roads are tricky). We have several great beach days, with great water temperature and not too many people. Port of Leucate has lots of places to eat seafood (mainly oysters and moules). Last, many thanks to Clemence and her family for her hospitality. Great stay.

Très chouette

Grande maison, agréable, avec pleins de terrasses exposées différemment. Literie confortable et tout le nécessaire pour démarrer le séjour sereinement (liquide vaisselle, éponge, papier toilette, etc). Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires. Petit plus : la coopérative viticole à 2 pas qui propose d'excellents vins et un restaurant éphémère en été les fins de semaine. Nous avons adoré !
