Great family holiday

We had a fabulous stay. Lovely location- so nice to sit in the lounge and watch the waves. And so good to have the option of flat water (where we paddle boarded) and waves (where we body boarded)! Beautiful beach without the crowds of Ohope and other similar beaches.

We loved our stay!

Our whaanau always enjoy staying somewhere new and this was no exception. Its a home away from home. My 11 year old uses the aid of crutches and although the access to the beach was a challenge for her, this did not stop her from figuring out a way to enjoy the sea. Thank you!

Best location

Second time here and just love the location - right on the beach and so peaceful. Great job with the mini Reno with new flooring and windows/doors. So lovely to open up to the sea breeze - no aircon needed. Flyscreens would be a welcome addition though as mosquitos and a grasshopper invasion prevented us from leaving the windows open at night which made it quite stuffy and difficult to sleep. Will definitely book again if we return to the area.

Relaxing seaside stay

The bach was very well presented, clean and tidy, with all required amenities for our young family. The access to the beach was a real perk to the stay. We were able to play, stroll, fish, surf, and relax on the sand right out front. The house was exceptionally warm at nights no doubt due to the new double glazed joinery. Bathroom was immaculate with great pressure in the shower. The outdoor shower was a welcome treat after sandy swims in the refreshing ocean. The little slope up to the deck even made an exciting ramp for our sons’ monster trucks. Several playgrounds, tennis courts, and estuary also provided a lot of entertainment. Not to mention a glorious day trip to Maketu, finished off with a delicious pie. A holiday to remember. As our three year old son said as we left “ we’ll be back one day!” Thanks again for the flexibility on dates, you made our Easter break that much more memorable.

Absolute beach holiday experience

The location is perfect. Suitable for family. Very clean place. Although there is no wifi, but we took the opportunity to interact and bond as family. We have a very good experience. We will definitely recommends this place to family and friends.

Enjoyed our second stay at this bach!! The weather was amazing. We got it all done fishing, bike riding, swimming, pipi gathering, nice fire and even slept under the stars for the night! Recommend to everyone it give this bnb a try!! But not to many! Thank you.

Amazing Property

Book this property! It is clean, well equiped and fantastic access to the beach. Honestly just the perfect place to wind down and spend some quality family time COMFORTABLY. Did I mention it is clean because we were impressed at the standard the property is kept. Thank you our stay was great.

Great Bach in Pukehina

Nice place to stay with great views and privacy. Interior is clean and comfortable. Away from city but close enough. Unusual request to bring one's own linens. other than that, it's a great stay.
