About this property

Contemporary 4 Bedroom Beach House.

An appealing, comfortable family beachhouse, in the newer southern end of Omaha. This house is ideally designed with two families in mind, having two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and the same downstairs. Both bathrooms are fully tiled and feature walk-in showers. Well appointed with all modern appliances including dishwasher, Broadband, Smart TV (including Freeview & Netflix), CD/DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and BBQ.

The open plan has oversized bifolds opening to decks on three sides, including a private west-facing courtyard complete with outdoor shower, furniture, and a louvre roof. There is a large double garage and ample extra parking for cars and boats. In winter, heating is provided by a cosy gas fire.

Omaha is perfect for bike-riding, walking, tennis, golf, fishing and of course, the beach which is just a 3 minute walk away. Along with the excellent white sand surf beach (patrolled in summer) there’s the sheltered estuary and boat ramp for all those water sports - fishing, boating, kayaking, or kitesurfing.

And close by are the superb environs of Matakana and the local vineyards, Leigh, Goat Island, Tawharanui Regional Park, and much more.
Special conditions:
Minimum 3 nights over Waitangi weekend and 4 nights over Easter. Minimum 3 nights on long weekends. Minimum 10 night stay over Christmas and New Year period. Minimum 7 night stay rest of January and early February. Smoking allowed outside only. Pillows, duvets and blankets provided. No extra guests allowed.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$100.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/pillow slips and tea towels).

What a fabulous holiday home, it had everything we needed, 3 mins walk to the beach, close to tennis courts and park, 10 min walk to a fantastic Superette.The beds were comfortable, great indoor and outdoor flow with several decks. Outdoor shower, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach trolley, bikes, we had the most awesome time away & we will definitely be back.The house was clean, had everything you needed. Very disappointed the TV was broken on arrival. Although we did communicate with the owners, we were told it would not be fixed or replaced during our 5 day stay. The fridge, bbq and oven needed cleaning on arrival before using. We will not be returning nor recommend it to anyone.

We are sorry to hear your disappointment about the TV which, as discussed, was working the day before. When we heard it wasn't working we had a neighbour take a look and then booked a professional TV repair person who concluded it was unable to be repaired. The TV has now been replaced but we are sorry that it couldn't have been replaced during your stay. Regarding the cleaning, we are sorry to hear you felt the need to clean appliances, but we're very surprised to get this feedback as our cleaners have always been reliable and particular, and we've never had this feedback before in over 20 years.

Really good place to stay. We appreciated the cricket set, bikes and comfortable outsides chairs. Water pressure a little low, but great location and lots of other things to recommend the house.
