Lovely beach getaway in Manzanita/Nehalem

Beautiful new beach home located just across the street from a nature preserve with a view of the Coast range in the background invites you to create wonderful memories. The backyard has a large patio, firepit, and charcoal BBQ.
Inside you will find an open great room, kitchen, and dining room floor plan. This beautifully decorated 3 BR/2 BA home has a beachy feel throughout, including shiplap in the entry, great room, dining room, and master bathroom. All bedrooms have carpet flooring. The well-equipped kitchen has quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of prep space.

The great room has a cozy fireplace, a 58" flat-screen TV, and wireless internet, puzzles, children's books and toys, as well as card and board games. Also included are a washer and dryer.

Home sleeps 6. Three bedrooms - 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king-sized bed. The 2 queen-sized bedrooms share a hall bath. Master bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in closet.

Ready for the beach? You have access to beach chairs, sand toys, a beach umbrella, and beach towels. Conveniently close to Manzanita Beach as well as other beaches, parks, restaurants, and local shops. A block and a half away is Nehalem Bay and Elk Run Trail, a walking path that you can take to Nehalem Point.

Check-in any time after 4:00pm on your arrival date. Check-out time is 11:00am or earlier on your departure date.

Cancellations & Refunds: The total cost of your reservation is refundable up to 30 days prior to your arrival. After the 30th day prior to your check-in has passed, there will be no refund.

Beautiful Inside & Out

Not only did the accommodations exceed expectations, the yard was amazing! Since it was chilly, we used the fire pit nightly talking story. Across the street a herd of elk presented themselves to us which we immensely enjoyed! Being from Hawaii, we totally enjoyed this life style.

Perfect vacation location

This house was ideal for our family gathering. The house was so clean and one of the best equipped places I have ever stayed. While not walkable to the beach it is a very short drive to Mazanita Beach. We all agreed the best place to stay.

Great Property

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet location. Everyone commented how comfortable the beds were. Kitchen well-equipped although the salt and pepper shakers on the shelf were empty. Huge TV with many channels available, but we 3 old ladies were unable to navigate the remote to find local channels - would have liked to watch the Olympics but couldn't find the channel. Would have appreciated a "TV for dummies" instruction sheet. Overall an excellent experience.

Beautiful Property

This house was perfect for our needs, we stayed here for a family reunion in Manzanita and loved it. The place was clean and well-stocked with everything we could need for the 5 days we were there. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the yard was great to hang out in and make smores. The binder and directions were all very helpful, my only comment would be maybe getting a bar for the guest bath shower, it is a bit slippery.

Nice house in Nehalem

We had a nice time at the rental in Nehalem. Its about a 5 minute drive from the beach. New home with a nice backyard. We were a little disappointed that it didn't have a hot tub since it said so in the listing, however it looks like that was a mistake and the owner corrected it.

Absolutely lovely home. I stayed here with my four kiddos (ages 4-10) and we had such a wonderful time! So close to everything, but also feels tucked away and private. Beautifully maintained home and yard. Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved this house!

It isn't often that the pictures actually reflect the house, but in this case it's an exact match. The house was very clean, and it still had a new house feel. Even the garage is well organized and clean! My teenager appreciated having an xbox to play, and both kids enjoyed having their own room. We didn't get to see any elk, but the patio was a fantastic place to relax and catch cool breezes. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful scenery. It was the perfect location to explore the coast from Manzanita to Tillamook. The only improvement I feel comfortable suggesting is to replace the couch cushions because they've begun to lose their bounce, and we tended to sink into the sofas a little bit. A minor improvement to an overall fantastic property. We hope to stay here again!

Best VRBO I’ve Ever Stayed At

This was a home., not a house. It was comfortable and had quality furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. One could tell that the owners have a pride in the ownership of this home and are two steps ahead of the guest to be sure that the whole experience is enjoyable. The living room furniture was soft and cozy. The kitchen had everything that you possibly could want/need. The pots and pans not cheap and crappy. The dishes are plentiful and we had options in bowl sizes. The whole house is just beautiful. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are super nice as are the towels. We didn’t need for anything. My daughter in law wanted to live there. The location is perfect as it’s close to north or south 101. We enjoyed seeing the Elk in the evenings. The backyard and patio are great! We really loved staying here. Do yourself a favor and visit Wanda’s - wow! It’s a cute little breakfast/lunch place with wonder baked goods and food. Thanks again!

Awesome House and Location

The location of this house was amazing- a short walk from the bay and a nature preserve and a short drive to Manzanita. The house was impeccably clean- which, being a neatfreak myself, made it so much easier to relax. The kitchen was very well stocked. The owners were great too.

Beautiful Newer Home

I'm not sure how old the home is, but it feels very new. Very clean. Very very nicely decorated with a beach theme. Located close to the beach and right next door to a nature preserve. We took a walk on a trail that bisects the preserve and saw two bull elks and a few river otters in a creek. That alone made our stay special. The only thing I would recommend would be an operation guide for the TV be added to the Welcome Binder. Being older and not that techy we sometimes have difficulty figuring out new remotes. We did eventually, but a guide would be helpful. Nice backyard with a covered patio and fire pit makes for some enjoyable time relaxing outside. Would not hesitate to rent this house again!

Terrific!

The house was very comfortable and clean. It is in quiet neighborhood and has a field across small road visible from backyard. Great place to enjoy the wildlife- elk, deer and emu. Well stocked with all you need. Sat to watch some football one evening and although there is a large selection of apps on tv, some of us folks aren’t at all familiar with that and how to watch live tv, lol. Maybe more detailed information would help some of us. We would highly recommend this fantastic home. So roomy and nice layout! Minutes from Manzanita and state park.

Wonderful floor plan and very clean

Loved the floor plan the most because the main bedroom is on the other side of the house from the guest bedrooms. The decor was great and this place was the best stocked of the last 7 VRBOs we have stayed in. So refreshing to have simple things like enough hangars, paper goods, barbecue supplies, etc. Very thoughtful stocked. And nice owners as well. If you like to walk, you are in between Manzanita and Nehalem so we would take turns walking to those cute little towns.

Excellent property and location

The house was excellent. It had everything we could need. The beach chairs were great, especially once we got smart and used the pockets to carry things. The only thing that was missing was the elk across the street. There were two emus though, but the elk would have been awesome. The house is a short drive from the beach and the bay and was a good base as we drove to Cannon Beach to the north and Newport to the south.

Great home base to explore Manzanita/Nehalem and surrounding areas

We loved coming "home" to this rental each day after our adventures at the beach, state park and river. It was clean and well stocked with all the things you need-clean towels, soap, shampoo, kitchen things, toys in the garage. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, and a short drive to Manzanita and Nehalem. Beds were comfy, too, which is always appreciated. Check out nearby Buttercup for ice cream and food in Nehalem. Nice people and delicious!

Beautiful Home Away from Home

The property was immaculate, and the hosts had the kitchen well stocked for us to do several meals in. Beds were comfortable and the house was spacious with lovely natural light throughout. Details were communicated well in advance and there was a detailed information book highlighting amenities and local points of interest. We would.come.back here in a heartbeat!
