Amazing place

We all had a good time, a very quiet, beautiful old house, no neighbours nearby, nice, spacey rooms, situated close to the forest. We spend most of our time outside.

Perfect dream house at a dream location

Catherine is a kind host with a beautiful house at a dream location, which suited our group of friends (with young kids) perfectly. We liked the surrounding nature very much, and the house facilitated our relaxed dinners and evenings perfectly. Thanks and highly recommended

Very nice house in idyllic landscape

This is a rare find: A very nice, beautifully maintained mansion in the midst of the idyllic hills of the Vosges. Together with my brothers, our families and some friends we enjoyed four days of companionship, walking, cycling, nice food and the occasional sauna and jaccuzzi tour. Very nice and responsive host.

Beautiful property in superb surroundings

Very beautiful property with superb surroundings. Super thankful to Catherine for allowing my family to come together from all over the world and enjoy our time in the Alsace/Lorraine region in France. Would do it again for sure. Future holiday makers should be aware in advance though that this is a very old house and requires certain amount of care and responsibility. Same goes for the recycling of rubbish as it is located in a small remote village where recycling is taken seriously. Hence, it’s probably more suited for groups of family and friends who can understand the care and responsibilities required. Unfortunately, we had some issues with drought in the area leading to shortage of water and a recent increase in hornets in the area that meant that it was challenging to leave the door open during the warm evenings. Otherwise, nice property and host.

Das Haus von Catherine ist super schön. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort über Silvester, es ist super ausgestattet und mit einem Pool und Sauna perfekt zum entspannen. Wir kommen gern wieder :)

Großzügiges Haus mit schönen, sauberen Zimmern und Aufenthaltsräumen, entspricht den Fotos und ist sehr gut für große Gruppen geeignet. Ruhige Lage (allerdings nicht direkt am See). Große Küche, die allerdings unordentlich bzw. unorganisiert war und nicht den Erwartungen entsprach. Schöner Aussengrill. Forsche Einführung mit vielen dos und don’ts. Ansonsten war Kommunikation gut.

wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit 17 Personen in der Villa bei Angomont verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, um sich selbst mit seiner großen Gruppe aufzuhalten.Wir hatten alle Fahrräder dabei. Mit Mountainbike s kann man gut mit einigen Höhenmetern den Lac Piere-Percee erreichen um unterhalb der Ortschaft Piere PErcee zu baden. Auch die Wanderer sind nicht zu kurz gekommen.Gerne würden wir wieder kommen, eine absolute Empfehlung.

Super Gruppenurlaub über Silvester (16Erw. / 11 Kinder)

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit Geschichte. Großer Essbereich große Küche. Sauna und Whirlpool wurde vor Ort gerne genutzt. Kleine Ausflüge in die direkte Natur vor der Türe. Einen kleinen/mittelgroßen Supermarkt mit den notwendigen Dingen hat es rund 10Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Für etwas mehr Auswahl muss man ca. 20-25Min. einplanen.Leider war WiFi im Haus aufgrund Kabelbruch (Bäume auf der Leitung) außer Betrieb, was speziell für die Kids etwas schwierig war. Nach 2 Tagen ging es dann auch für die Kids :-) Mobiler Empfang war für fast alle nahezu unmöglich und kam nur sporadisch durch am Tag.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-)

Splendide ancienne demeure très spacieuse rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et de finesse. Salles de bain modernes et fonctionnelles. Endroit idéal pour réunions de famille. Jacouzi et sauna très agréables. Endroit très calme. Contact facile avec hôte aimable.

Tolles großes, altes Haus mit Charme in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir waren mit 26 Personen dort (inkl. Kleinkinder und Hund) und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Vermieterin ist wirklich klasse und für alle Fragen zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald und daher super ruhig. Man stört daher auch keinen, wenn es mal lauter ist. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit vielen Schlaf- und Badezimmern ausgestattet. Der große Essensraum und Salon hat für uns alle gereicht. Die Küche ist super, wenn man für so viele Leute kochen will. Die Sauna und der Whirlpool wurden ausgiebig genutzt. Im Umkreis gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bäcker. Als Ausflugsziel bietet sich der See in der Nähe an. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tres bon sejour

tres bon sejour pour des retrouvailles familiales, assez d'espace pour tout le monde. nous avons pu aller nous promener dans la foret malgré le temps. coin de verdure tres sympa commodites : boulangerie et supermarches a proximité, la traiteur qui nous a ete conseillée par catherine était super. les chambres etaient spacieuses et la maison tres agreable. cuisine tres grande, 2 frigos pour pouvoir stocker, vaisselle en assez gd nombres, NB: il faudra juste prevoir un chauffe biberon pour les plus petits car pas de micro ondes sur le site. on garde l'adresse pour une prochaine fois.

Maison magique pour réunion familiale et amicale

Maison magnifique, décorée avec goût et bien équipée, où l’on se sent comme à la maison. Dans un environnement verdoyant, en pleine nature, un havre de paix et de détente pour les grands comme pour les enfants. Un accueil à la fois efficace et chaleureux, disponibilité pour répondre à toutes les questions avant l’arrivée et discrétion et accessibilité des hôtes une fois sur place. Wir haben unser jährliches Teamtreffen in diesem wunderschönen Haus von Mme Gassner abgehalten und es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir gerne wieder kommen wollen. Das liebevoll restaurierte Haus, die schönen, großzügigen Räume, die Terrasse mit einem einzigarten Blick in die Natur, alles war perfekt! Week-end d'anniversaire

Séjour du vendredi soir au lundi midi, en famille (3 générations) repas préparés par des traiteurs extérieurs de qualité; activités de plein air. La demeure est remarquable par l'ampleur et l'équilibre de ses volumes; elle a été profondément et parfaitement modernisée dans l'esprit de ses origines, et contient encore une décoration partiellement ancienne. (ce qui, soit dit en passant, est un peu laborieux à faire respecter par de jeunes enfants, même bien élevés...) L'atmosphère y est franchement chaleureuse, et l'espace permet aisément la cohabitation de 22 personnes sans impression de promiscuité ni de bruit excessif. Le niveau de confort est élevé, notamment de par les salles d'eau attachées à presque chaque chambre. Le jardin et la nature environnante sont superbes et permettent de belles sorties. L'accueil de la propriétaire est très bienveillant et ses conseils appréciés, notamment en matière de traiteurs et d'activités. Recommandable aux personnes soigneuses.

Grosses Haus mit viel Charme

Wir haben als Grossfamilie über 3 Generationen ein verlängertes Wochenende in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen dürfen. Bereits om Vorfeld war die Kommunikation mit Catherine sehr angenehm, sie hat uns alle Fragen immer prompt beantwortet und uns sämtliche wichtigen Informationen präzise geliefert. Bei der Ankunft fanden wir das Haus wunderschön dekoriert und sauber vor. Das Haus war riesig und mit den vielen Badezimmern für unsere Bedürfnisse genau richitg, es gab neben der grossen und gut ausgestatteten Küche auch für alle individuelle Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, man konnte zusammen sein ohne sich eingeengt zu fühlen. Die Umgebung ist idyllisch und sehr ruhig. Wir haben es genossen und würden gerne wieder kommen!

Magnifique demeure située

Noël en famille …. 23 personnes dont 8 enfants/adolescents. On ne pouvait rêver mieux. Déjà le lieu : grand terrain et à l’orée du bois pour les balades. Des chambres spacieuses et très bien agencées avec une très bonne literie. Très grand salon où petits et grands pouvions nous retrouver. Salle à manger qui nous permettait de se mettre tous à table … 23 personnes ! L’hôte avait gentiment installé une table supplémentaire où les enfants ont pris place ce qui nous amenait à plus d’aisance. Cuisine spacieuse et très fonctionnelle …. Nous avons pu cuisiner … un peu et rechauffer … un peu plus !!! … pour toute la tribu sans difficulté … un peu de fatigue quand même ! Tout le monde à profité du Sauna et du Jacuzzi extérieur …. Trop bien. Et un Grand Merciiii à Catherine pour la décoration de Noël, je pense qu’elle y a passé un certain temps …. c’était juste Sublime. Bravo aux personnes qui s’occupent de l’entretien de l’intérieur … très très propre. Tellement de choses positives que j’ai peur d’en avoir oublié !

Belle maison pour l'emplacement, le souci du détail, la taille des pièces et des chambres. La plus belle maison que nous ayons trouvée en France. Magnifique le paysage autour, la tranquillité, la beauté des destinations qui peuvent être visitées. Très approprié pour les familles avec enfants. Sehr schönes Haus in idyllischer Umgebung

Sehr gute Kommunikation, bei Problemen war immer jemand ansprechbar. Der Balkon ist sehr schön und hauptsächlich mit Bierbänke ausgestattet. Der Whirlpool war eine tolle Bereicherung auch bei der Hitze. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein tolles Haus in schöner ruhiger Umgebung
