This beautiful beachfront property located at Shelly Beach, north of Auckland, is situated on a secluded inlet off Kaipara Harbour. It features a delightful log cabin-style home set in a landscaped garden and surrounded by native bushland, with the house directly overlooking the beach below. The property offers complete privacy, as it adjoins a wooded nature reserve and is screened by trees, with no other houses in sight.

The house features an impressive deck on three sides, ensuring the stunning views are fully maximised. Imagine relaxing with a drink at sunset, preparing a meal with the Weber barbecue, wandering along the beach or helping yourself to fruit from the orchard, including apples, plums, figs, tangelos and avocados.

Shelly Beach has long been a lifestyle mecca. With its mix of quaint baches and quality homes, it offers all the delights of harbourside living in a rural setting, still within easy commuting distance of central Auckland. And if you need to stay connected, we now offer free wifi.

Here you have Kaipara Harbour at your back door, with an all tide boat ramp giving you access to excellent fishing. The wharf is a favourite fishing spot and charter operators pick up from here for excursions out to the secret spots. The Jetty Cafe is perfect for coffee or a meal from the range of delicious food on offer and also stocks grocery items.

The coastline has many secluded beaches and is great for walks with family and friends (please note dogs are welcome with prior approval - outside only). The harbour is shallow and the beaches are very safe for families. Along with the waterfront beach there are reserves and two playground areas – one on the waterfront and the other on the reserve adjacent to Shelly Beach Volunteer Fire Force Station.

Other attractions in the area include various lakes, forests and west coast beaches such as Muriwai. Just 10 minutes drive north of Shelly Beach is the beautiful South Head golf course.
