-Please make sure that the outdoor bath is empty. Alll taps are off as we are on tank water. -All windows open during check-out to air odors. -Bathroom vanity, toilet & the shower left tidy & clean.
Clean up any mess created during cooking, including the tiles behind the oven or you will be charged an $120 cleaning fee if the kitchen is left unclean with oil spatter and grease.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Hughly recommended if you want to get away - the location is so beautiful, forest as far as the eye can see, with your own private forest walk. The house itself is amazing too - clean, modern, just like the pictures. The host is very reaponsive, couldn't fault it, 5 stars

We’re a married couple with three children, and after moving to Waimauku in 2021, we quickly fell in love with the peaceful lifestyle, beautiful surroundings, and slower pace of life. In 2024, we began building our guesthouse with the vision of creating a relaxing retreat where others could disconnect from the busy world and enjoy the beauty of nature just as much as we do.

One of our favourite features of the guesthouse is the outdoor bath, positioned on the private deck overlooking the surrounding landscape. The deck sits close enough to the native greenery and pine trees to feel immersed in nature, while still offering comfort, openness, and a peaceful sense of escape. It’s the perfect place to soak under the stars, listen to the birds, and enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. Our haven is designed for rest, relaxation, and reconnecting with nature.

Surrounded by native greenery and pine trees, the property has a calming, private atmosphere that feels far removed from the busyness of everyday life.

Guests also have easy access to private short walks directly from the guesthouse, allowing them to explore the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the fresh country air at their own pace. Because we built the guesthouse ourselves with hosting in mind, every detail was chosen to create a warm, cosy, and peaceful retreat — somewhere guests can come to recharge, celebrate special moments, or simply enjoy a quiet escape in nature.
