This contemporary hotel styled room is privately owned and managed by the owners. It has been renovated with a fresh modern style, funky furniture and plants. It is part of a larger apartment complex so is professional cleaned with fresh linen upon your arrive and depart. It has its own private keypad code entry, ensuite, TV, bar fridge, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities.
Take note that the room is located on the back building of the complex (not a lake front building) with the main door entry fronting the busy Frankton Road. In summer especially when you might open the windows, you will hear the noise from the passing traffic. During the night it would be quieter so do take note if you're a light sleeper.
The room itself has partial views to the lake front which is just meters away. The Frankton walking/biking track is a scenic must do and only 4kms to central Queenstown. Being right at the Frankton Marina, you can also hire water equipment such as boats, kayaks and paddle board subject to the seasons. A 5 minute stroll to the nearby popular Boatshed Cafe and Altitude Brewery are a must.
Note the owners are not able to meet you upon arrival but are available by phone or online. The complex is located close to the Frankton Marina, Queenstown airport, Remarkables retail centre, Five Mile retail centre, Queenstown Central retail center and Remarkable ski fields.

We loved the area with lots of small cafe who serve yummy food and coffee and the bus rides into town where easy as the stops are right outside our appartments. Also there is a nice walking track which leads right into town. Loved our apartment and loved our stay.
We loved our stay by the Frankton Marina. Nice to be on the path and the water. Close to coffee and a brewery and walking distance or bus to either Frankton or Queenstown. Perfect little spot!
Checking was super easy, everything was very clean and cozy. Pretty close to the CBD and almost on the water. Was a great place for us to crash after the days we spent doing excursions and exploring the city.
Room was spacious and warm with great bathroom facilities also the option to do laundry downstairs was very handy. Just make sure you have coins to operate the machines. very enjoyable stay.
An easy drive from Queenstown airport Frankton Central Shopping, and Queenstown town centre. Comfy bed, sufficient kitchenette, and we loved the heated bathroom floor! A little road noise early evening but not til too late.
A cosy apartment with excellent facilities. Great host with good communication. Apartment close to bus stop and dining.

Nice modern apartment
Good room with easy access and parking. When the bed is pushed together as a “king” it doesn’t quite sit right and the pillows were hard. Overall good stay for the price and location

Good guest to have stay at our property. All was easy with the booking & communication. Recommended to other hosts.
Nice little unit, as it mentioned in the property description the road noise is definitely there. Cutlery set was missing a fork, but we had our own so no drama.
Otherwise a pleasant stay, and we would stay there again.
This property was exactly perfect for us. It was very nicely kept, had tea available in room, bed was comfortable, and it even had heated floors in the bathroom which was a luxury that I didn't know I wanted! The whole place was lovely. And location wise, it was great. It was a little outside of the downtown Queenstown area so it was a bit quieter, but it was a quick taxi/uber ride away or a bit of a longer (but pretty) walk. Communication with the host was fast, kind, and helpful. This was our favorite lodging that we had and I would highly, highly recommend.
Picture is not from the property, its taken from up the hill a ways. We had no view of the lake except from the corner of one window. Property was very clean and comfortable.
This is an updated, very clean apartment that’s very close to the airport. Marina is a great communicator and check-in was easy. There is air conditioning, but it doesn’t really work that well. We just made sure to keep the shades down during the days while we were out and about. It wasn’t a huge problem. Some people expressed concern about the number of steps to get up to the apartment, but that didn’t bother us either. We are both in our mid 60’s and managed just fine. We would stay there again.
View from room was awful unless you like looking at someone else’s window. The picture of the view is misleading on the add. It should say on the picture that this isn’t your room view. Laundry wasn’t free but worked well. Everything else was great.
Clean and a good size for a compact sized apartment.Great for a solo traveler or couple. A good supply of tea/coffee, toiletries and a nice touch that washing powder was available.Bus stop is outside for buses into Queenstown or the 5 Mile Shopping Centre. There is also a stunning walk along the waterfront to Frankton. The apartment wasn’t well numbered/signposted.There are other rentals in the complex and some guests decided they were too lazy to put two boxes and a bin bag of rubbish in the bin instead they dumped it on our quad bike. The neighbours apartment overlooks the property.

Not a bad spot. Short drive into town and shopping centre. Local brewery pretty good for a drink.
Not sure I got the room I booked. 403a on side of building on road.
Booking said 403 which would have faced water I believe.
Bathroom has heated floors. Very nice.
Spilled a CD little water on floor and wiped it up and it was black. Could use a good mop.

location was great and room was very clean and tidy on arrival. shower pressure was great. the property description did not state that there was no kitchen, no cooking facilities other than a shared BBQ which meant we had no way cook any food. there were plates and cups although no where to wash them other than the bathroom sink. there was no broom or vacuum for us to clean up our room at any point.
This was our least favorite of 5 bookings in NZ. Nothing really wrong with it but the amenities are minimal, so it's more like booking a motel room than a domicile.Pros:Very convenient to airportTraffic is quieter than in QueenstownInexpensiveGood communication, AFAIKCons:View is unremarkable'Kitchen' consisted of the tiniest mini-fridge and a microwave (also an electric kettle) - no range, no sink. Washing dishes in the bathroom sink was a PITALaundry is paid and cash-only. We ended up going to a laundromat instead so we could use contactlessSecurity issues with choices of WiFi and door secrets, as mentioned elsewhereAnyway, it's fine, but you can probably find more exciting digs for just a little more

Disappointed.
Booking-in process was entirely remote. As we had trouble with our mobile the process was most difficult. A person at check in would have overcome this. Our designated room number was hard to locate. When booking online we thought that the unit had a view of the lake. It didn't! The room itself was quite pokey, although warm and comfortable. It's only advantages were it's proximity to Queenstown and some great nearby cafes (in Sugar Lane)
This place broadcasts the door code in the name of their WiFi so every random person can see it, and this code is the first code that any person would guess (and has clearly never been changed between guests). The WiFi password is also a copy-paste of its name. Incredibly insecure physically and digitally, plus there is also a door connecting this room to the next apartment internally. I was not comfortable staying here because of the absolutely unsafe security practices.
Also note that there is no kitchen, not even a microwave, despite this place being within the Marina Apartments.
