Great location very close to Oxford's town square. Made walking to restaurants and retail very easy. Off street parking at the house is a bonus. The home was very clean, comfortable and great for our Ole Miss graduation visit.

Thank you for sharing this about your visit for the Ole Miss graduation! We're so glad the location near Oxford's town square made walking to restaurants and retail easy, and that having off-street parking was a nice bonus. It's wonderful to hear the home was clean and comfortable for your stay during such a special occasion.
Really enjoyed our weekend and the accommodations. Close to the square, easy check in and out, the home was very well done, clean and comfortable. Will be back!
We stayed for my son’s fraternity weekend. This house is in the perfect location for walking to the square and campus. Super comfortable beds and everything we needed!
Our stay was two weeks after the ice storm, and we were coming to Oxford for our daughter's wedding. Understandably, we needed contact regarding status of the house, etc. Jenny was extremely helpful with quick responses and solid information. The house was wonderful, great location, very close to The Square. We loved the layout, very roomy, updated, and will certainly stay again. An interesting note, one of the groomsmen came by and told us that he lived in the house when he was in school about 10 years ago! It was a wonderful stay for a memorable weekend. Thank you.
This house is a great option if you'd like easy access to everything on the square. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of space to spread out. Nicely appointed kitchen (no corkscrew?) and everything was clean and as advertised. Will stay there again.
This is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay in Clayton. We had a full house, and two pets, and everyone enjoyed themselves. It is clean and feels new. Also, if you are a coffee snob, like me, they have you covered.
We (a couple) stayed at the house for two nights; its nicely furnished and in a terrific location. We walked to Ole Miss, restaurants on the Square, and a great bookstore. The Ole Miss golf course is an easy drive away too. The house needed a little airing out when we got there, which isn't unusual, and the host responded right away when we had a question. We'd definitely stay there again!
We loved this property so very much! Our stay was perfect—from the location, the historic charm, comfortable beds, well-stocked home, spacious rooms, cleanliness, wonderful little details, and communication with the host. It was just perfect in every way! This home truly feels like a home away from home. Our favorite part was being able to park under the carport and walk to the downtown many times each day. Such a treat to not worry about finding/paying for parking during the busy season at Ole Miss. We look very forward to a return trip soon and highly recommend this lovely home to anyone staying in Oxford!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The location of this rental is very good and has decent off street parking as well as location. While it is an older house it is staged very well and looks like it has had some updates over the years. Check in and check out were all easy and all details were located clearly on the table as needed which was a positive too.The con of this place was the smell of mold/mildew. The potential of it being related to being closed up did not go away after running AC for several days and moving around the house. Once you get home you notice the smell even more because everything that goes into the house will now smell. Post the stay and getting home we are now spending the time to clean and wash everything in the hopes that the smell comes out of everything. If not then we are left with the cost of replacing items so they no longer smell like mold/mildew.VRBO or management company did state that this was identified before but that is not listed anywhere on their site for the consumer and the main reason for me providing this post. They also stated that it was looked into and deemed as there was no issue. They also had the vents cleaned to the AC but not sure how long ago that was all done. Either way it is hard to believe given the persistence of the smell and surface mold around the AC vents on the ceiling. My hope is that these details are helpful for future renters of this property so they are not dealt with the same results that we were.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the location, parking, and ease of check-in and check-out. We would also like to clarify that we were not made aware of the odor during your stay and had no known mold issue at the home prior to your visit. A previous guest had mentioned a musty smell, which prompted us to have the home professionally inspected, and no mold issue was identified at that time. Following your stay, we promptly investigated the concern again and found some mildew around the air vents, which was immediately cleaned and addressed. As this is a historic home built in the early 1900s, some characteristics of an older property may be noticeable, but we take concerns like these seriously and will continue to monitor and maintain the home carefully for our guests.
Very clean and recently updated. Neighborhood is close to the Square and an easy walk. The team that monitors the property was very easy to reach and helpful. One thing I forgot to mention to the team is the bathtub in the master bedroom is very slippery. The Internet offers suggestions on how to solve that. Wonderful stay!
