Beachfront Bland Bay tranquility with stunning sea views from sun-drenched deck

Located at Bland Bay, 1 1/4 hours north of Whangarei on the east coast, this 25 year old well-maintained 2 bedroom family bach / holiday house offers the convenience, beauty and peace of a beachfront location and spectacular views of Bland Bay from the 360 degree deck. Stroll 15 metres to main beach or take a 2 minute walk to Whangaruru Harbour.

Wake up to stunning sunrises from the main bedroom, brew a coffee in the Nespresso machine (BYO pods) and get that caffeine fix while sitting on the east-facing deck in the morning sun and follow the sun around the 360 degree deck all day. Enjoy a BBQ on the west facing deck in the afternoon while taking in the stunning sea views.

It is not unusual to be the only person on the beach and dolphins are often seen (and swum with) in the bay.

Fantastic fishing, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing in the bay and several beautiful bush walks to choose from.

If you are into surfing, Elliot Bay is great surf beach 10 minutes away, and is quite a swell magnet, often surfable when it is flat at Bland Bay.

Pop up to Russell for a nice meal (40 minutes) or cross the ferry to Paihia for more Bay of Islands' activities.

Please note that the nearest shop is in Oakura (30 minutes away), which really only caters for essentials. For more luxurious treats, you need to go to Russell or Whangarei, so we recommend you take all the supplies you think you will need for your stay (and a little more, just in case), as once there you won't want to have to leave for groceries!
