Located on New Plymouth's main street, our comfortable unit offers you close proximity to New Plymouth's main attractions. A short walk to the coastal walkway, Chaddy's charters, Bach and Gusto cafes.
Easy access to Surf Highway 45 and coastal attractions. New Plymouth is well known for it's unique mountain and sea attractions. Enjoy a quiet drink at the unique Treehouse bar, just a 5 minute walk down the road.
Please note the unit is located under our main residence, we do have young children, and as such there is potential for noise.

Great Location

Place was in great and easy location to the City and other activities. Host was very friendly. A little bit of road noise early morning, but nothing over the top. Both beds were really comfortable, an excellent nights sleep. Unfortunately the kitchen area was a little dirty - little bits of tomato were left in the basket and the dishes are quite stained. But overall, really good value for the $$'s.

A cheap and simple place to stay

This is not a place I would wish to stay for too long, being under a house, and it was slightly tricky to get into from the road. However it was very clean and tidy, straightforward to book, and all my friend and I needed for a couple of nights. I can’t think why no milk was supplied! However there’s a Four Square and great F&C close by. Plenty of pots and pans etc.

Short budget stay...

We enjoyed a short budget break in this neat little flat with 2 kids and 2 adults. We spent most days out exploring, with short stints/overnight in the wee bach. Listing is an accurate representation of the property. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, good shower pressure and the beds were comfy (soft bed in the main bedroom might not be to everyone's taste). Short walk to the coastal walkway, and a short drive to town/all the local sites. As stated in the listing, the property is on a main road and this is worth noting if you are not used to traffic noise (we live in a VERY quiet area so underestimated our sensitivity). Hosts were very friendly and helpful! Overall a great break, thank you!

Evening, As you have already been informed via email they were unable to stay as my 90 year old mother who was going to be staying there became unwell . We have requested a refund . We have not had a response from you as up to now and are feeling very disappointed with Bookabach.

Clean, Quiet and Homely

Thank you for having us! Wish we could have stayed longer! The house was very homely and had everything we needed including kitchen things for preparing dinner and two heaters to keep it warm. Owner was friendly and helpful. The property was quiet and we had complete privacy from the main house. Loved it and highly recommend.
