The place was comfortable and had everything we needed.It was close enough to walk to town and close to the beach.We recommend visiting Waitangi, Treaty grounds. Also, suggest taking a trip to Russel and visiting the beach on the far side of the island. An easy walk.Would return again.

Fantastic stay in Paihia and the wee place we booked was perfect. Quiet location, clean and fully kitted with everything we needed. Easy walk into town for a coffee and cheese scone or the beach for a swim. Our host responded to any questions we had prior to arrival, during our stay and after, Marylin was very helpful. Even though we were on holiday I was provided a table and office chair for a Teams Board meeting, thank you much appreciated. We would stay there again, Jonathan & Deb.

This was a cozy little cottage in a quiet neighborhood with all the amenities one could want. Books, games, a nice kitchen, and wifi were all there.

Great escape by the bay

We had a wedding to attend in Paihia, and stayed at this gem for a couple nights. It was a 2min drive to the township, and walking distance to a beach. Great facilities and comfy living space. Marylin was great to deal with and was super accommodating. Can't wait to make another trip up!

Bay of Islands Treasure

The location of the unit is ideal for visiting attractions in the Bay of Islands. Its a lovely walk into town and the wharf, the beach is literally at the end of the street. The unit is well equipped and spacious to make your stay enjoyable, things like beach towels and pantry condiments were much appreciated. All the beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were surprisingly good. The communication with the onsite person was excellent and very helpful. We would love to stay here again

Great little cottage

Great unit, roomie, has everything you could possibly need and more. A great location, just two or three minute drive to town.Our only concern was the loss of Internet connectivity halfway through our stay. It never did come back and eliminated the use of the television for anything other than DVDsof which there is a large selection provided.

Thank you for your feedback it is much appreciated. We also sincerely apologize about the internet issue. It was a wiring problem some distance from the cottage and affected two service providers, ours included. The problem has been fixed and the internet is running beautifully, as usual.

We had a lovely stay at Marilyn’s well-equipped and cosy cottage. The location in a small community of baches on the edge of Paihia was convenient and wonderfully quiet (note we were there in the off-season) - though a car is recommended if you’re not big walkers and want to get to the main town. Marilyn was quick to respond to and solve minor queries. We loved our stay in Paihia and our breakfasts on your sunny deck. Thank you!

A little bit further out of pahia than some people would like, but it was lovely and quiet and the local taxi guy was awesome and very cheap, about $7 back to the batch if you've been drinking and generally gets to you within about 10 mins. batch was awesome, had everything you could need expect a dryer but has heaters and a clothes rack (although i guess this normally wouldn't matter at all we just had quite a rainy weekend) . other than that it was a perfect little getaway, :)
