The views from the property is surperb, it is a good 25 minutes drive from Russell and only a short walk from the closest beach. A great spot if you want to boat. Quiet and peaceful. The property is older but even so one could not expect anything more from the kitchen, deck and barbecue facility.

This property has amazing views and everything necessary for a great beach holiday.
This property has amazing views and everything necessary for a great beach holiday. If you aren't familiar with the area, our tip is to take the ferry from Opua. We followed our GPS and ended up towing our boat down a very windy gravel road from Kawakawa. We ended up with 3 punctures!!
Only other problem was the intermittent mobile coverage. We were sometimes able to get texts but no data unless we drove down the road. Forced us to really 'get away'!
We would definitely stay at Maranui again.
