Come and enjoy what Te Anau has to offer, peace and quiet, grand mountain views and beautiful bush walks.
Day and overnight boat trips in stunning mountain and bush terrain.
The Glow worm cave trip is excellent for everyone in the family.
Thrills can still be found blasting down the Waiau River where some of the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings film was made.
A challenging 18 hole golf course awaits and the tennis club is gaining international recognition.
Our stunning holiday home is only a short walk to the lake front, restaurants and 3 world class walking tracks but far enough away from any traffic to feel lost in the views. Backing onto a reserve there is plenty of space for children to play. The indoor outdoor flow makes this home easy living, you stay sheltered from the elements at all time and can still absorb the view.
The table tennis room is proving very popular with all ages and is a welcome activity if the weather has turned ! But even then the moody backdrop of the mountains is awesome !
We have put in a small sandpit to keep the toddlers amused !
There are 3 queen sized beds and two king singles in one bedroom which are also suitable for adults .
We do have a 3 bedroom property at 27 Jackson street if you have a larger group looking for quality accomodation.

Home away from home

We stayed here as our base to exploring Milford Sound region and just loved. Family of 6 adults we had plenty of space and felt right at home. Very clean and well organised.

Te Anu visit

House was in a pretty, residential neighborhood. It was better than we expected from the pics of it. We thought it a bit unusual that the owner showed up before our checkout time on the last day. Without identification or notice it made us nervous as to who was walking in the house . Otherwise , great stay.

Lovely place

Nicer than the pictures - this house is near a lake and town - comfy beds and furnishings. Small TV but that's ok. Great base to explore Milford sounds and start Kepler track. Very well equipped kitchen.

Window’s galore

We really appreciated the early check-in. Not having a sink in the toilet closet was a little unusual, but overall the home was lovely.Only Bach we stayed at where we were asked to clean the fridge and oven before checking out. Lots of windows and natural light. Had fun using the ping pong table.

Nice place but a bit cold

It's nice to have a table tennis for kids to play. We felt cold when first entering the apartment. It takes some time to warm the rooms by turning on the heater.

When we purchased the property we felt in touch with the bush on the mountains across Lake Te Anau and loved the freedom feel that Fiordland offers !
When you see the views you will understand the connection with the bush !
The house is so close to town ( 8 minute walk ) and 5 minutes to the lake shoreline.

What makes this property unique

Short walk to book 3 world class walks , jet and leisure boating, flying trips and helicopter rides !
The township is small and very intimate if you visit on the shoulders of the season !

We have a washing machine and dryer and would ask you to bring your own laundry powder and put a donation in jar for use of the dryer please !
