Designed for easy living, the cottage comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across four bedrooms, making it ideal for family reunions or a getaway with friends.

Bedrooms: 4 spacious rooms with a mix of queen, king single, and single beds to suit all group types.

Bathrooms: 2 well-appointed bathrooms with showers.

Living Area: A relaxed open-plan lounge and dining area that flows to a sunny deck — perfect for barbecues or evening drinks after a day at the beach.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and plenty of bench space for preparing shared meals.

Laundry: Washer available for guest use.

Not worth the money

House was clean however we were little disappointment by the service provide! Toiletries were not provided apart from toilet paper. Would have been nice to include sheets and towels for future. my friends were bit upset as WiFi was not provided and other things as well utensils were not clean. Happy that we only booked it for one day and not two.

Great property for sharing with two families. Adults upstairs and kids downstairs worked really well for us (also space for a full family to share a room downstairs if needed). Plenty of utensils, the kitchen, for cooking and dining. Lots of space for everyone to relax, and games to play etc were great. Everything a classic bach should be!We enjoyed and easy cycle to the town and the beach - nice flat area. Will stay again if we come back to Whitianga! Thanks Kym for sharing your property.

How things change

On the Friday morning when we were to inter my late wife's ashes in the Whitianga cemetery, I tripped when stepping up onto the front patio and dislocated my right shoulder. The 4 greatgranddaughters and my daughter went to the cemetery and completed the burial as arranged. I, accompanied by my son and granddaughter, went to the clinic then over to Thames hospital where it was put back in finally. Back to Whitianga midnight. We visited the cemetery before leaving for Auckland the next morning. The house was all we could have asked for and I would be very happy to return for a longer stay. I am afraid I was not clear of drugs when we left but think, and hope, we left it tidy, everything in its place and clear of our rubbish. Kym was an excellent communicator. I cannot really fault any part of the whole arrangement and experience, apart from my own carelessness.

Great location and excellent for a larger group of differing ages. Separate downstairs lounge for those travelling with older kids. Bathrooms were good with good water pressure. BBQ could do with an upgrade as it is very rusty and on it's last legs . Other than that slight negative I would recommend

Lovely large home with plenty of space

Great amount of space in this house with plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and two teens to spread out in. Short drive to the beach and town centre. Well equipped.

Really enjoyed our trip. Lovely house.

It’s super close, super easy and really comfortable! Bed duvets upstairs weren’t clean. Had stains on them. Aside from that, it was a great experience!
