Explore Gisborne from this restored bungalow. This brilliant location is only a 5min walk to the Saturday Farmers Market, restaurants, cafe's and bars. It is only a 5 min drive or 10 min walk to Waikanae beach. This is a safe surf beach for the family with a full surf life saving club. Take surf lessons or just enjoy strolling along the boardwalk that runs along a large stretch of the beach. This central location provides an easy drive to vineyards, ecological tours, bush walks, fishing and beaches.A BBQ is available for guest use

Everything we needed and a beautiful location. Weather was lovely so was able to enjoy the sun and view of the river and surrounds from the deck. Will definitely stay here again if available next year around labour weekend sometime! Thank you

Lovely warm house

House was very comfortable. Great size rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is lovely but lacks a few cooking items, (Needs bigger fry pans to cook for the amount of people who can sleep there). Over all, it’s a beautiful house, easy location. House does have a caravan and car parked right in the front, so outside river view is not there. It’s a neighbour who has it parked there so it’s not the owners fault.

Hi Very nice property. Was great for our visit for our aunts 90th birthday. Check that you have the alarm code in your instructions. We did not and had to call the property manager after checking in and having the alarm go off. TV was new and we had to work through getting Freeview working. The property manager said he could not help!

Beautiful house & great location. Shame the property is incorrectly listed as being wheelchair accessible. This was a requirement & upon arrival discovering steps, no handles or anything for basic accessibility caused much panic & anxiety. Please alter your listing! Cleanliness was also an issue -sticky floors was just the start. Such a shame because everything else ticked all the boxes.

Our family of 4 including a 5 year & 15 month old really enjoyed our stay in Gizzy. This perfect home was the best location for us and we would love to stay there again if possible. Great property, ideally located

We loved our stay in this beautifully renovated Gisborne bungalow overlooking the river. It's close to town if you wanted to walk but is also well placed if you want to head north and check out the beaches between Gisborne and Tolaga Bay (well worth visiting). We had a problem with checking in (in that there seemed to have been a communication breakdown between the owner and the cleaner) but it was resolved in a reasonable amount of time and I would happily stay here again.

Perfect bach for a family

We have all loved our stay in this beautiful bach and will certainly look to book again for our next Gisborne stay. The house is spacious, very tidy and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and stress free was there for us. The short walk to the centre of town and the waterfront restaurants, as well as the peaceful river outlook made this an extremely restful and stress free holiday for our family. Wonderful stay
