Beautiful spot hidden up on the hills, we woke up to the birds chirping and cows mooing, breathtaking stargazing at night! The room was wonderful and clean, it had everything we needed, Tracey was great and greeted us as we arrived and told us all we needed to know cosy bed with nice sheets too! I Would definitely recommend people visiting the coromandel to come and stay here! Thank you to Michael and Tracy for having us, we truly had the best time

Beautiful little getaway!

I had a lovely stay at the Herons Hangout and it was a really nice spot that was fairly close to the beach. I had such a relaxing time there and was also introduced to Janet Adams the hen! :-)

Our host waa so lovely and caring. We stayed during a bad storm and she checked in on us to make sure we were okay and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. The place itself was clean, well kept and nice and spacious in a beautiful area.

Great hosts!

We stayed 4 nights. We had issues with our car, the hosts were great helping us to find a place to get our car fob up and running. Cooks beach is beautiful for just relaxing.

Cozy at Cook’s Beach

We decided to do a little road trip to celebrate my daughter’s 21st. We wanted a pooch-friendly landing pad to explore the area and were delighted with our stay at the Herons Hangout! Everything we needed was there, the hosts went above and beyond to help us when we had questions and we felt really fortunate to have stayed here!

Great rural location a few minutes out of Cooks Beach. Very peaceful and loved sitting on the deck listening to the birds. Tracey recommended a few things to do during our stay, which was appreciated. A wonderful stay.

Short Holiday Stay

Property is as advertised, very clean & tidy. Had everything you would possibly need. Property was easy to find GPS took us straight there. Good safe location, only 5 minute drive to beach & eateries. Enjoyed our 2 nights here.
