Town of Carolina Beach Dog Rules - All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the beach during restricted hours BEFORE 9:00 a.m. and AFTER 5:00 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9AM-5PM. October 1st through March 31st,dogs are allowed on the beach during all hours. $225 non-refundable pet fee.
NOTE: Canal Drive is prone to flood during strong storms, or during lunar/King high tides. Water may enter the carport and bottom floor entryway. The ground level is designed for the water to escape when it recedes. Please research the North Carolina King Tide Chart to see when this occurs.

The host company (A1Property) was a treat to work with and very responsive to an issue with the electric lock batteries going dead. This was a great location for us in our visit to the Wilmington area to watch our son run in the marathon and visit with him and his fiance

The main floor had no bathroom and with my elderly mom coming it was very difficult to navigate stairs just to find a bathroom when everyone is gathered on the main floor. I would not stay there again for that reason.

Beautiful views!

Beautiful views, comfortable home, close to everything, loads of activities! We really enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaking and canoeing in the bay. The beach was an easy walk. Our boys really enjoyed surfing. Our boys went to the nearby skate park nearly every night. We will definitely return!

Extremely comfortable and very close to beach!! House was well equiped to meet our needs. The stairs definately got everyone in shape!!! Not recommended for those with heart issues, as the stairs are a bear, for the unfit!!

The house was clean and conveniently located. The views were gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay. I do wish they provided more towels and linens. The listing said they had bikes but we could'nt find any. Since everything is pay for parking on carolina beach, bikes would've been cconvenient to have.

Carolina Beach, Great area

We all really enjoyed this rental and area! We had fun swimming, fishing, canoeing/paddle boarding off the docks, we caught several croakers and spot fish, all of which we released, as they were small, so fun to catch! The beach was super close to walk to for fun beach time and early morning walks… Really, the best of both areas of water…The house was clean and well Maintained and it had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen and rooms. The laundry room was a plus and much needed. It was nice to have the beach towels available… The accommodation for our dog was perfect! Thank you! We had a wonderful time and it was great area!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was just right for us. Our main intention and activity for our stay was fishing. The dock was just right for us with very easy access to the ICW and CB inlet. There is plenty of water under it at low tide, suitable for large boats up to 30+ feet. The location is just 1 mile from the boardwalk, shops and restaurants of CB. The view is very nice. The condo is well appointed and the kitchen met all of our needs. There are paddle boards and kayaks which we did not use. The unit was clean for sure when we arrived. I did not choose 5 stars for this (spotless) because the carpet through out (only in bedrooms), is in need of replacing. There are scuffs on many walls. With so many renters using properties, it’s to be expected. It is however a little stressful after you check in and consider what damage you should report, wondering what is already known or could some of it be new from the last renter. It can be time consuming to annotate everything so I tried to summarize instead of annotating it all. This condition did not bother us at all aside from trying to make sure it was known. We would stay here again, it was perfect for our needs.

Was nice to hang out on the decks facing the canal. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was only 1.5 blocks from the beach. More or less had to drive to get to shops and restaurants being a ways up the strip between the canal and the ocean. Lots of steps being 4 levels. Only negative was the shower and tubs could have been cleaned a bit better.
