Brand new 2024 home that was recently built in Dieppe. A quiet, serene environment for work and relaxation. This one bedroom suite in a suburban home is clean, comfortable and a spacious environment in a suburban newly built community close to the City of Moncton. This suite boasts of new appliances to meet your cooking needs, a dining area to comfortable enjoy your meal, a cozy living area with a couch, television and access to internet to stream, soft and comfortable linen and towels, access to laundry in the suite and a small workstation in the bedroom. This neighbourhood provides 70km of walking trails, bike paths and river lookouts. In close proximity is the UNIplex recreation centre, Cineplex, East Coast Karting, Room Escape Atlantic and Fox Creek Golf Club. The airport, NBCC, Université de Moncton and more are also nearby and if you are looking for adventure Hillsborough lighthouse is a 20 minute drive away and Hopewell Rocks 40 minutes away. For your safety there is a camera facing the street, the side and at the back of the home. A blow-up bed is located in the linen closet.

Clean unit and all amenities look new. Nice living room and bedroom; the driveway parking, washer and dryer are definitely plus. Prompt/responsive communication from hosts. You have to drive 5-10 minutes to the main drag (Dieppe Blvd.) for groceries and other necessities.

Everything was perfect with this stay besides the noise from people walking upstairs. We could hear every foot step, furniture moving, pots and pans, and conversations. It was frustrating trying to fall asleep with all the noise.

This basement apartment was cozy and convenient as listed. Photos were true to listing. If you are considering cooking during your stay, keep in mind the stovetop is only a one burner induction cooktop. Only overall complaint is this apartment needs soundproofing. The upstairs rental tenants had a party until 4:30am, making it hard to sleep through the noise.

Don’t worry about your stay

*Sorry, my first language isn’t English*It was my first time in Moncton/Dieppe, and the place was impeccable. Super easy to find, easy to understand the rules of the place and the owners were *chef kiss* ! The room and the bathroom room were super clean ( I double checked). So don’t worry, you’re in good hands. The only thing I had difficulty with was to find the oven, just to realise there was none, but they had a hot plate

Great host, nice and clean basement

The host (Vanessa) was very nice, responded quickly, and was very patient.The house looked new and clean, and it was bright and well-lit.Unfortunately, it is actually a basement unit. (When I made the booking, I didn’t realize this from the photos. I only found out 48 hours before check-in, when the host sent me the house rules.)Although there is a separate entrance to our basement unit and other tenants live on different floors, the sound insulation is a bit poor. We could clearly hear the upstairs tenants talking, coughing, and walking around. On the second night, we went to bed at 10 p.m., but the tenants returned around 11 p.m. and were quite loud, which woke us up.Since this violated the house rules (quiet time starts at 11 p.m.), I immediately contacted Vanessa to ask for assistance in getting them to lower their volume. Vanessa responded quickly and handled the situation, which I really appreciated.In summary, Vanessa was an excellent host, and the basement was very new, modern and well-maintained. If you're not sensitive to environmental noise, this is actually a great place for a short stay.
